- So much love, TNG xx.
My day was perfect until my brain started functioning. Then, yesterday hit me like a truck.
The thoughts are still lingering in my head. I can not believe that Zach was such an asshole, kissing me like that. He knew exactly that I didn't like him in that way, but he kissed me anyway. For a stupid bet. Do I feel bad for him because I slapped him? No. Trust me, I wasn't one of those weak slaps, I actually hit him really hard. I know this may sound really bitchy but I hope it hurt. He stole my first kiss for money.
Turning over, I notice the same box from last night placed upon my desk. Inside of the box is the beautiful dress. Looking at it, the same questions keeps popping up in my head. Who is the dress from? Is the dress from Zach? Did the message Zach send me have anything to do the dress on my bed? Would Levi have gotten it as a gift for me? Was it Violet? It's awful, I am so full of doubt. I honestly don't know who I can trust anymore. Maybe I am just overthinking it all, I am only a girl and it is part of our nature to overthink everything.
BING! My thought train is stopped by a notification. I lean over trying to reach for my phone which was charging on a small stool quite far away from my bed. I try to wiggle myself into a plank and then crawl with my hand toward the stool, with my legs still on my bed. I'm lazy ok.
BING! BING!
"I'm coming you stupid phone!" I yell at it.
I grab the phone with one hand and still trying to maintain a balancing plank, but because I have bad coordination, I lose my balance and tumble to the floor with a crash.
"Fuck!" I curse.
Standing up again, I try to step backward to get to my bed. But I fall again, haha lol. I'm clumsy ok.
I open my phone and see messages rolling into my phone. Lillie is trying to spam me. WOW!
Little did she know that I am the spamming queen. I go straight to safari and copy the entirety of lyrics from Baby. Pasting all of the lyrics, I spam her. After literally 5 minutes straight of spamming each other, I texted her to stop. It was followed by a really rude message.
Lillie -Hoiya! I'm standing outside of your door, and I heard you fall. HUN u NEED to stop taking all the L's. hehhehehe you loser
What the heck is she doing here? She's crazy, but I already knew that. I crashed the door open, hopefully hitting her in the head. But I missed, aww that sucks.
"I'm here. Clear your schedule, we are gonna get ready for the dance together! Haha, I forgot. You don't have to clear your schedule since you don't have a life!" she says meanly. I'm used to it, I get nothing but abuse from her.
"Haha, very funny. So why are we doing it so early in the morning?" I ask. It's like 9, I just woke up.
"Actually, it's two in the afternoon and we only have 4 hours to get ready!" She tells me.
"WHAT THE FUCK!" I gag, "We only have 4 hours?! We will never make it!" I screech.
"Calm down sleepy pants. I already organized things for you. Shoes and a dress are in my car, and I brought my makeup bag and speaker up here with me!"
"I actually have a dress..." I tell her.
After 5 minutes of examining the dress, Lils declares it's perfect. I don't think I'm going to tell her I didn't buy it until later. I still don't wanna go to the dance though.
"On second thought, why don't you go get ready and I can stay home and order some pizza and eat it while watching netflix! That sounds like real fun."
Lils rolls her eyes.
"Listen here bitch. You're gonna get your ass to that dance even if I have to drag you there, no exceptions!"
After ages of arguing, she won me over. It took the whole day to get ready, I'm serious. We took showers, washed our hair. Put on face masks. After the prepping was all done, we did our makeup. I swear, it took at least an hour. Probably 2.
Unlike Lils, I refrained from getting makeup caked on my face. I instead went for a more natural look. It suited the dress a lot. Lils is actually really damn good at caking her face without it looking cakey. Girls will get what I mean. It's that balance of looking perfect, natural and smooth all at the same time. Ugh, society is so annoying. Finally hair. I wore mine down, curled to literal perfection. I put on my blue mask for the masquerade party and then, I was done.
As I clatter/fall down the stairs in the gorgeous heels Lillie picked out for me, my mind snaps to this gorgeous dress. Who the hell bought me it? You may not know, but I hate surprises and secrets. I don't know why, I just do. Since I have no clue in the slightest who bought me this dress, I am kind of irritated. It's an expensive dress, and that's a lot of money to waste of someone like me. As I trip over myself, Lils gets into her car and honks, telling me to come. Ugh, how can some girls walk so damn well in heels? I take one last look in the mirror. I pose, just a little bit. Heheh, wow, I nearly look as hot as heck (that's saying something as I usually look like dog crap). As I step over the threshold of netflix and comfort, I find myself in the winter breeze. It's cold. What could go wrong?
After a few minutes of drive we reached the house. This was considered the party of the year, it was like our end-of-year dance, except no one wanted teacher supervision, so we moved it to a student's house. It's a really weird event because of the attire. The "dress code" was classy, but you were still expected to party like normal. If you didn't fit the theme, you had to leave (it wasn't really strict though).
The party was massive, and with time, it only got bigger. I think that this year, 300 people were attending it, half of which didn't even attend our school. As we slowly walk towards the house, we notice people barfing into flowerpots and bushes around the house. It's then I realise it's not gonna go so well. The part literally started an hour ago. If you're gonna get drunk, do it well (AKA wait until the party has started).
I walk inside and notice the jam-packed dancefloor with people grinding and dancing. It's full already. Then, the shittiest best friend ever decided to abandon me for alcohol. WOW. I was trying to scan the room for people that I know but in the dark it was quite hard, also because this is a masquerade party and everyone was wearing a mask.
I decided wandering around would be the best idea. I was walking toward and suddenly someone bumped into me. Then, of course, I immediately stumble over some cables and fall. Into a rock solid body.
"What the heck? Watch out, stupid bitch!" he shouts at me as he also fell, "why are people drunk already, such dumbasses?"
I remember this voice. OH NO, HE DIDN'T.
"Alec is that you? I'm not drunk. I'm clumsy." I tell him. He removes his mask and shows me his face. Of course it is Alec.
"Get your hands of my man, you bitch!" says a familiar voice on my right. I swear I know that voice. "Oh, sorry bestie. Amelia, I thought you were another girl, Alec would never ever date someone like you."
hehe. Nothing like some bold print to cut you off at a cliff hanger. Who is it?
