Sarah gasped as Eren walked into the room. She thought she was dreaming when she saw her drunk and angry dad punch him last night. Sure enough, Sarah noticed the dark bruise on Eren's left cheek.
"Eren! My dad really did punch you, didn't he?" she asked.
Eren jogged over next to Sarah. Sarah tried to sit up but then felt super dizzy and settled back down onto her back.
"Yeah. He did. Just relax." Eren said to her.
"Where is that drunk bastard, anyway?" Sarah asked sternly.
"N-not here, that's for sure." Eren replied.
"Hm. Good." Sarah sighed and closed her eyes.
Eren placed himself in the chair beside Sarah's bed again. Sarah's stomach growled. She looked at Eren's chips and laughed.
"Can I have some?" she asked.
Eren looked at his chips and looked like he was thinking about his decision.
"I don't know...." he mumbled.
Sarah made a pouty face. "Please???" she begged.
Eren laughed. "Fine! But if I get in trouble by the doctor, I'm blaming you. Deal?"
"Deal." Sarah agreed with a smile.
Eren tilted the bag towards her. Sarah plowed her hand into the bag and grabbed a handful.
"Hey! I need some too!" said Eren.
"Sorry! I'm hungry!" Sarah replied
Together they laughed until the doctor came in.
