The doctor entered the room and approached Sarah and Eren. I hope I'll be alright. Sarah thought to herself.
"Well, young lady," said the doctor, "you took quite a beating. But you'll survive. By tomorrow, you will be able to go home! Won't that be great?" he asked.
Sarah shrugged, thinking about her dad. "Sure. I guess."
The doctor nodded and continued to speak. "Your gonna have to take it easy for the next few days. Take anymore hits like that and you might be in the emergency room."
Sarah nodded.
The doctor continued to talk, but she wasn't paying attention anymore. She was now focused on how her father was going to react when she got home. She already knew that he wasn't exactly the happiest camper about her being in the hospital, from what Eren had told her. She remembered about seeing her dad punch Eren. She had heard lots of yelling and arguing, but couldn't focus on anything. So she just laid there in her bed, doing nothing, but trying to listen to the clouded sounds that she could barely hear. When she heard what she thought was her father's voice, she focused more. Then, as she sat up in her bed, she saw what had happened to Eren. She wished that she had done something.
But she didn't because she had been too much of a weak coward.
