"WHO WAS THE BASTARD THAT WAS HERE WITH YOU LAST NIGHT?! WHERE IS HE?!" the booming voice echoed.
Eren peeked around the doorway. The man that had punched Eren last night was standing beside Sarah's bed. She was sitting up with her face in her hands. Eren could here her crying.
"He was my friend!" Sarah yelled back, looking up from her palms. Her eyes were red and swollen.
The big man swung his hand and slapped her, causing her to yelp with pain.
"YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS!" He continued to yell.
The man grabbed Sarah's hair and pulled her head back and raised his other hand at her.
"WHERE IS HE?!" he shouted.
Eren stepped into the room as the man almost hit her again.
"I'm right here!" he announced, "Leave her alone."
"Eren leave! He'll hurt you!" Sarah said.
Her father slapped her again anyway. Eren ran over to him and shoved him away from Sarah.
"I said, leave her ALONE!!!" Eren ordered.
The man straightened up and growled. He did NOT look happy. Eren was thinking about making a run for it, but, luckily, Sarah's doctor stepped into the room.
