Chapter 7: My Facade

Meiqi and Exy met up at a food court near by their college. Exy handed the book to Meiqi who closely examined the exterior. Meiqi's hand brushed over the logo on the cover and ignored glowed beneath her fingers. "So this is the book you're talking about right." She asks.

Exy nodded, "I found it in my sister's library but I doubt she even knows about the book. Like I told you the pages are supposed to contain information regarding the girls and why we are here but we have to find the others first."

"Well whose next?" Meiqi asked flipping through the book memorizing each page.

"I have 4 more clues but they are so vague." Exy said placing her head onto the table. Meiqi closed the book looking up at the girl, she slowly caressed her head.

"Don't be there is probably a reason for this we just have to find out." Meiqi says trying to comfort the girl. This whole thing was so confusing and there were to many questions for Meiqi to process. As frustrating as it was, Meiqi still had a strange nurturing side to her, she just wanted to comfort the wary girl. "I think for now we should try to understand the signs and maybe the book would tell us more. The book is for the Stars but the signs are constellations, and only my sun sign is Libra what about the other signs."

"Maybe we are are all the signs. " Exy said a little to eagerly. Meiqi shook her head. 

"That's not likely. Each each type of sign is on a different cycle, for all I know we can have the same Saturn sign." Meiqi said taking our her phone. "To completely understand we'll need some someone who really understands to explain it. It's really complex, all I can tell you is that we are looking for people with those sun signs. We might get more hints the more stars we find."

"How do you know that. " Exy gasped. 

"Air signs are logical." She smirked. The waiter came over so the girls decided to order. Once the waiter left Meiqi began scrolling through her phone and staying random things she thought would be important. "We're in the Pisces sun cycle right now. Then it goes to the start at Aires. "

"Well of its the Pisces cycle then why is she sad? Doesn't it mean her birthday was recently. " Sojung stared at the book for a couple seconds before gasping loudly. "Between the 1st and the 6th, that's why we got six signs."

Meiqi rolled her eyes, "Yeah not because there 6 is half of 12 definitely because her birthday is the sixth." Exy narrowed her eyes at the Chinese girl. "Do you know how many people were born during that time? How are we supposed to narrow it done to one person?"

Exy put her head down on the table, Meiqi had a point it was still vague. But at least there was a slightly smaller circle to look. "A birth year would be nice. " She muttered. 

The waiter finally returned with their food and set it down onto the table. Sojung stared at her food, there were too many questions in her head, what if she takes too long to find the others sign? What if it doesn't find the rest? What if she shouldn't find the rest? What if not finding them ends the world? What if finding them ends the world?

​​​​​​"Do you have anxiety or something? " Exy looked up at her wide eyed, "You were just mumbling again." Exy apologized to Meiqi. 

"Let's try to find the Pisces first. Also I'm guessing we should find the Cancer, Capricorn and Aquarius next since we have their hints." Exy said. Meiqi nodded and continued to eat, Exy took a deep breath and began to eat her food. 

This was going to hard but she just couldn't give up that easily.
