Chapter 2: Anxiety and Fear

March 6th 2017

Lee Luda was only 17 when she first met Jiyoung. It was on her 18th birthday when he had finally mustered up enough courage to ask her out and they had been dating ever since. Today, exactly 1 year later, Jiyoung had asked to see her, knowing her boyfriend Luda got ready the right way. Throwing her long black hair into a messy ponytail, she slipped on a pair of black heels before adjusting her her outfit. She was wearing an oversized trench coat with black stocking that complimented her freshly shaved legs. She was barely wearing anything underneath, just a two piece Landry. Jiyoung like it when Luda dressed like this because he said it made her look 'beautiful'. Besides, it was a common occurance that when ever they met up, they would end up involved in some sort of sexual act.

Luda existed the bathroom and saw her roommate and best friend, Nam Dawon, staring out the small dorm window. "I'll be going now" Luda announced. Dawon turned around and gave a weak smile and complimented her outfit before turning back to the window. Luda frowned. Dawon was never fond of her and Jiyoung's relationship, and always claimed he was using her,'you are nothing more than a booty call to him' were her exact words. Luda always brushed her off, she suspected the girl was just upset that she wasn't hanging out with her as often as when they were in high school. Dawon always let her feelings get the best of her and it never ended well for her. But she alway stays unbothered.

Dawon was strange.

"I'll be back after midnight." Luda said looking at her best friend, she felt bad for her. "Don't wait up." That would have been impossible, Dawon can't sleep unless she is exhausted.

______At the beach ______

Once Luda arrived at the set meeting place, Jiyoung had also just arrived. Luda ran up to her boyfriend ready to give him a hug and attempted to give him a kiss. Jiyoung avoided her kiss making Luda frown. Luda held his hand swing from left to right, smiling again, maybe Jiyoung was being moody again. "Look Luda I have something to tell you." He said seriously, Luda only giggled finally making eye contact with him. His face was straight and his eyes were unreadable, she could feel her heart slowly breaking, he was serious. "I want to break up."

Luda's once bright eyes lost color within a second. "What? Wh-? What" She stammered. Her eyes stung, she already wanted to cry. Jiyoung only turned his head away heaving a sigh.

"If you would just shut up and let me finish. Geez, this hard for me ok. " He said irritated. "I cheated on you, and I feel horrible about it. I just- I don't want to keep dating you that's it." He said calmly. Luda of course was already in tears. She was so happy. Why does he choose to hurt her so much. Luda pushed him away before stumbling herself, falling down, crying. "Luda, come on don't be like that."

"Don't be like what! HURT! Well guess what dumbass you hurt me! ALOT!"She shouted at him. Even though she tried to sound angry, she still sounded hurt. Of course she was hurt but that doesn't deny her the right be angry...... he broke her heart. "Why....... WHY!" She screamed at him. Her face was drenched with her own tears. "I PUT SO MUCH DAMN EFFORT INTO MAKING YOU HAPPY AND THIS IS THANKS I GET!"

"I DON'T WANT THIS EITHER OK! BUT IT WOULD TEN TIMES BETTER IF I WAS WITH HER RATHER THAN YOU!"

"ARE YOU SAY SAYING THAT WHORE IS TEN TIMES BETTER THAN."

"NO OF COURSE NOT. She is just better for me." He said his voice now calm again. Luda only looked up at him shaking her head before walking. Jiyoung reached out for her but she just started running away. He really didn't know what to say but he'd rather not lie to her.

Once Luda was out of sight a young girl stepped out of the shadows. "I'm sorr-" she tried to say but Jiyoung only raised his hand signaling for her to stop. It hurt for him too. I hurt that he forced himself to love her to avoid all of this. When he finally was able to she stepped into the image ruining everything. But their relationship was something different from his and Luda. It had to work or he would loose his best friend.

Taking a few deep breaths Luda tried to calm down her breathing. Her heart was beating against her chest, she could barely stand, she couldn't even breath yet non of that could compare to pain she was feel right not.

How?

Why?

Who?

The more she thought about it the more her sadness turned into hatred. The waters raged and the tides increased. Luda cried her eyes and she stood in the same position with her hands fisted tightly. She didn't realise the water was practically by her knees.

A strong wave bashed against her fragile legs taking Luda by surprise. The small girl fell to ground with loud yelp. Before she could get up another wave crashed over entire body slowly dragging her body deeper into the ocean. She got slightly frustrated and tried to grab on to something. Water and sand fell into her open mouth making it harder to breathe. Two minutes later Luda was still fighting for life, her chest burned as the salty water filled it.

Now Luda was slowly falling to the bottom of the ocean and her body felt limp, or at least that's what she hopes. She opened her eyes even though it would hurt more. Darkness was all she saw it was slightly comforting. She was about to die. So much happened in the last 45 minutes it's unbelievable. And it all lead up to her death.

I have nothing say but please leave some comments and point out my errors cause I don't really revise my book. I am writing other chapters for this but I'm really cluttered. I have to write as I imagine so. Don't hate Jiyoung yet.
