Chapter 11: It's Just a Bit Weird

February 25th 2017

Yeoreum, finally being able to distract herself from Yeonjung, headed over to the food court to deal with some business. She had hesitated whether or not to go directly to the persons or to wait for them at the food court. They hadn't set any sort of date or appointment, in fact the others aren't even aware that they were supposed to be meeting. Yeoreum had something and she knew they'd want it back at some point.

It was a book that had found the evening before. It was quite the strange book and was hoping the owners would comeback to claim it. If they did, she'd be in the best of luck because they'd be able to help. She checked the book in the evening and saw it had two names written in it, they could only be the owners.

"For the stars". Such an airy mysterious name that had really peaked her interest. She (according to the book) was a star and so we're the other 2 girls. She didn't do too much reading but for what she did read she found our just wrought information to spark a discussion with the others.

Yeoreum took a seat at the table where she had found it (which was luckily empty) and waited patiently. A waitress came over to ask for her order, she simply asked for a water and some fries. Yeoreum didn't like fries but she didn't want to stand out too much so ordered the first thing that came to her mind.

About an hour had passed and Yeoreum had finished the water and the fries. Now she had to pee. She decided to leave the book there and go to the bathroom and then rush back. If anything they'd take the book and she'll still be able to contact them since she know their names.

When Yeoreum returned she saw to girls sitting by the table with book in hand. She noted that when one of the touched the cover it glowed, like when she touched it.

It's them...

1 hour earlier....

"YOU LOST THE BOOK!?!" Meiqi screamed at Exy. Extra flinched slightly before sighing.

"It just slipped off my mind." She muttered looking down. Yesterday after they had left the food court they left the book on the table. Exy thought Meiqi would had taken it home and Meiqi thought the same thing about Exy. In result, they both walked off leaving the book on the table.

Meiqi groaned and crossed her arms. She was not happy about the book being lost. The book had lots of valuable information inside of it, God knows what would happen if it fell into the wrong hands. They could get exposed to the world or kidnapped by the government. Who knows what will happen. Meiqi began to feel panicked at the thought of that happening.

"Don't worry. Maybe the book is still there. Maybe someone took it to the lost and found. " Exy said trying to comfort the worried girl.

"You're right," Meiqi muttered, "We should go there now and try to see if it's still there."

"But I have-" Exy's words were cut short by Meiqi's sharp glare. Exy glupped before nodding her head aggressively. The two girls grabbed their stuff and headed towards the food court.

The girls arrived at the food court and began to glance around for a thick brown book. Exy frowned when she realised the book was no where to be found. Meiqi spotted the seat where they were sitting at was empty. She turned to Exy and said, "My feet hurt from walking. Let's go sit over there."

Exy only sighed before shrugging her shoulders. She followed Meiqi over to the seat and they sat opposite to one another. Meiqi placed her hands atop the table when she felt a strange lump. She moved her hands and looked the table, nothing was there. She looked at Exy confused. Exy, who was not paying attention, just kept staring at her hands, nodding the some imaginary music.
