Red skull seemed distant, Modoc could see this and so could Attuma. He usually had a smirk on his face while he was forming a plan but now he was frowning and gently stabbing his fork into his steak. Dracula decided to speak up, "What is the matter Red skull? Are you having trouble with your meat?" Skull looked up at them like as if he only just realized they were there. "I apologize for my behavior this evening gentleman,  it's just not a good day for me." They all looked at each other in confusion. Red skull sighed and began his story, "It started seventy years ago......

Red skull was preparing an escape plane for him and his daughter, his wife was murdered recently because he refused to destroy his village for Hitler. Skull feared for his daughters life and began secretly constructing this plane. He new that all he needed to do was keep out of Hitler's grasp until the end of the war then they would be free. The plane came to life all of a sudden and he knew that it was completed, he was just about to sneak out and collect his daughter when the security alarm blared! He could hear everyone panicking and her scream! He ran out to find her when Captain America barged through the door with his partner Bucky behind him, as Skull faught against Captain America to keep him away from the plane he heard her scream and let his gard down and was knocked out. He woke up hours later to find the base in ruins, he searched for hours for his daughter calling out her name until his throat was sore. It soon became obvious that she may not have survived the destruction, and if she was captured it won't be long until she was killed for being on the side of Hitler.

.... and to this day i still feel guilt for whatever happened to her." He shed a small tear for his beloved daughter. The room fell silent in an attempt to aviod further discussion of this topic. The submarine continued on it's way to Monster island.

Meanwhile
The Avengers had landed on Monster island to find more clues to this mystery. Widdow had stayed behind in case Hawkeye woke up, Falcon wanted to stay as well but they needed him to help navigate. They followed the map and after hours of avoiding the monsters and getting back to the right path they found a stone door. Hulk easily pried the door open and they walked in without being challenged. They found an old room with a crystal in the heart of it, and inside the crystal was a young girl! She looked no older then twelve and matched the description of the dark elf's song! Hulk gently lifted up the crystal and placed it inside the jet. Tony looked at her with curiosity, she looked so peaceful and asleep.

Suddenly the jet was hit and Tony called out to Thor to defend the ship while he fixed the wing. As they left the jet they saw the Hydra submarine and after some alterations they were able to leave the ship behind.

Finally they arrived back at Avengers tower. Hulk placed the crystal in the lab but it cracked! Everyone was still as the crack lengthened until finally it broke apart and a cloud of dust erupted from the broken crystal. When the dust cleared they saw a scared child hiding behind the table. Captain America walked up to her but she screamed and squeezed herself closer behind the table. She began to cry and Hulk decided to try and approach her. When he got close enough he found that she had cut herself on some of the crystal shards, her eyes were filled with tears and she reached up to him. He picked her up and felt her arms wrap around him as she sobbed even harder and mumbling something he could make out as "Where's my daddy? I want my daddy." Hulk was just as shocked as everyone else, she immediately trusted him even though he looked like a monster. He walked over to the others and she tried to climb up him when she saw cap. "It's the bad man! You did something to my daddy didn't you! You bad bad man! Stay away from me!" She screeched and sobbed even harder. Hulk took her to his room to help her calm down by showing her his glass figurine collection. Now that the lighting was better he could see the stains on her face caused by her tears. He grabbed a cloth and wet it in his mini waterfall, after he ringed it out he walked over to her and gave her a gentle smile. "I bet there is a pretty girl under all those tears," he said as he wiped her face. When he was done she smiled up to him. "See i told you there is a pretty girl under those tears." She layed her head against his chest and gently fell asleep. Hulk picked her up and pulled out the spare bed, he tucked her in and turned the light out.
