"Vanguard, portal!" Thor called out and in a moment he disappeared in a burst of rainbow light. He carved a symbol on Hawkeye's bow and had taught him how to use the spell to transport the group to Asgard. "Now remember," Thor said before he left. "Use the spell when your close to her because if you aren't there isn't much of a chance that you'll catch her." Hawkeye was nervous as they boarded the Avenge jet to find Nocturne. The wristband on Dracula's wrist started glowing as they took off. As they neared their destination they heard screams from below, looked like Nocturne couldn't wait for her full powers to come around to start causing havoc. Red skull got up and started barking orders to his group. "Listen up everyone, Dracula you take Hawkeye to find Nocturne. Attuma, you get your soilders and put out as many of the fires you can. Modoc, stay here and monitor the situation, you are our eyes and ears. The rest of you are with me to manage crows control." Without a word of argument everyone got ready to do their part, Dracula grabbed Hawkeye to take him to the ground. Attuma dived off the jet and landed into the water. At Red skull's signal they immediately went out to do their parts. Dracula turned himself and Hawkeye into mist and floated down to the surface, once on the ground they immediately got to work in finding her. They found her on the highest cliff in the village over looking the destruction, a smile was clear on her face. They passed Red skull and Steven as they tried to help a man who had been badly injured trying to protect his children. Iorn man and Attuma with his troops worked together to put out the flames, Hawkeye suddenly raced up the hill and started speaking the words Thor taught him. The moment he said the last word he was close enough to her but at a terrible price, he was pushed out of the way by Dracula as the three were teleported to Asgard's medical bay. He looked down at the dark red blood that poured down Dracula's punctured chest. Nocturne laughed at the sight of the man dying at her feet. "How pathetic! The king of the vampires is killed because he attempted to save a worthless human. You could've ruled by my side. Be king of all the dead. But now you will die for your ignorance! And no one can save you. Not even him." She pointed at Hawkeye and he felt like he was choking, he grabbed at the invisible hands wrapped around his throat. He heard her evil laughter just before his vision decided to fade away. Thor and the healers grabbed Nocturne from behind and shoved her into a medical bed, Hawkeye gulped in fresh air felling his throat open up once more. Thor called for more healers to tend to the fallen men.

Thor helped fix the village and once they were done he sent them all to Asgard to see how they were doing. They were shocked to find Dracula struggling to live, a jar was thrashing around on a large table. The jar was square so that if it fell over it wouldn't roll onto the ground. Jane was on the bed sitting with Dracula in tears. She was upset even more to the fact that it was her hand that had hurt him, she could do nothing but watch him die and now it's all she can do. Hawkeye got up and lead them all out the door to give them privacy. Jane flopped onto Dracula and quietly grunted with pain, the poor girl soobed into his wound. He stroked her brown hair and studied her face. "Jane, would you sing me a song? You have such a beautiful voice." Jane nodded to him and cleared her throat to stop it from shaking. She began to sing to him a song Attuma taught her.

"A maiden of skin as pale as the moon and hair as white as snow,  was taken from the sea, the place of her birth, was given to a wealthy merchant for a bag of gold. The maiden cried tears of pears for her home as the man kept her in a cage, she was kicked everyday and her tears stolen to be sold for silver and bronze. A young man saw the fair maiden and felt a heaviness in his soul for the chained maiden and stole her from the merchant and took her to the river. She beckoned him to come with her, and be her fine groom. She took him home to the sea and they lived together with their hearts full of love."

She looked down to the smiling man with his eyes closed and his hands cold around hers. She shed more tears for her fallen friend and wished that she had died. She remembered how he would teach her about history and taught her how death has an important role in life on the Earth. Her tears fell on his wound and she sang again, she knew that he may not be able to hear her but she wanted to share her song with his vanishing spirit.

"I have been alone for so long, when you found me curled up in despair you showed me the way. Now that your gone i feel the darkness consume me. Don't leave me for i still need you, i already miss your loving hold. I miss your kind voice, your guiding hand and your protective ways. Please don't leave me, i have so much more love to give to you. Please do come home to me, your the only true friend i have."

There was no one in that ward to see her tears torn into a milky white color, no one saw Dracula's chest glow as it healed. No one but Jane heard Dracula gulp in air as his life was restored. She cried with tears of joy and they both hugged with joy. The team heard the commotion inside the ward and cried out with joy as they saw Dracula sitting up and hugging Jane. Everyone hugged Jane and Dracula for a moment. Dracula laughed at everyone's reaction. "Come on guys, it'll take a lot more than that to make me push daisies."

After a while Thor took everyone to the dinning hall as all of Asgard celebrated the long awaited capture of their feared enemy Nocturne, while the new Avengers celebrated their own victory over death and their new companionship. That night after the feast Tony got a room ready for Jane as she played with Dracula on a board game. Jane still felt horrible about what happened, how the world was almost destroyed by her hands. Red skull knew it would take a lot of time to help her get over what happened to her. It never should've happened but it was unavoidable, no one knew what powers she had thanks to the serum. She ran up to him and kissed him good night, she even walked over to Steven and kissed him goodnight too! "Goodnight daddys. I love you both." She said and went to follow Tony to her new room. Red skull got up and whispered to Tony, he nodded in agreement and told him where Jane's room was. Red skull and Steven held her hands and lead her to her room. They tucked her into her bed and kissed her forehead. "Goodnight." They said together and left the room quietly closing the door turning off the light.
