I broke up with my boyfriend. I found out he cheated on me. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hurt. I loved him too much that I hadn't realised he had fallen out of love. He didn't want me anymore.
I was sad and angry. He lied to me. I should've never loved him.
I called my best friend to come over. When she found out what had happened, she was mad. She hugged me, saying that everything would be alright and I cried in her arms. We ate ice-cream together while she tended my sadness and listened to my rants.
"Thanks, Yoonmi," I hugged her as we stood outside my door step.
"I will always be here for you, Taehee. What are best friends for?" Yoonmi took a step back, grinning and raising an eyebrow.
I laughed, remembering what she had said long time ago, "gossips and rantings."
She chuckled.
"Well, before I leave," she grabbed her wallet from her bag and pulled out a card, "this is for you," she gave it to me and winked.
Heartbreak Bar
Wanna cure your heartbreak? Join us and all the pain will go away. Just show this card to the bodyguard and you're in!"This looks interesting," I mumbled.
"It is! Try it," Yoonmi wiggled her brows.
"You've been there?" I asked, but she just shrugged.
I narrowed my eyes at her while she gave me an innocent look and I finally gave up, "Okay then, I'll try," I sighed.
"Good. Anyway, I'm going home. Bye, Taehee!" she exclaimed and walked towards her car. I waved bye and went inside my house.
-
I changed into a black silk dress, grabbed my car keys and drove to the bar. I showed the card to the bodyguard and he let me in.
People were dancing, some were making out in the corner. I cringed.
The song was too loud. The blaring sound made me dizzy. I went to the bar quickly and saw a bartender.
"Hello, may I help you?" he asked politely.
"Yes, give me something strong, would you?" I yelled through the loud music.
"Be right back."
He came back with my drink and god knows how good that tasted.
"So, what's this place for?" I started.
"We serve heartbroken people here. They can find and meet a new partner, you know? Who knows... maybe they are fated."
"Who would find a lover in a bar? This place is for people to enjoy, not find love," I blurted and he just shrugged.
After finishing the drink, the alcohol started to kick in. I immediately went to the dance floor and dance.
I danced like the break up never happened. I danced like there was nothing to be worried about in this world, I couldn't care less, I was here to enjoy myself. I was too engrossed in dancing that I didn't notice there was a guy watching me.
Our eyes met and I smirked. I moved my hips seductively and I swear I saw his eyes darkened.
He came towards me and circled around me like I was his prey. I kept on dancing, staring straight into his eyes. He then stepped towards me, so close that I could see his eyes clearly. They were beautiful.
He turned me around, my back facing his chest. He pulled me closer, wrapping his arms around my waist. We moved in sync as a slow song started to play. I leaned my head on his shoulder, my hand was holding his entwined arms while my other hand came up to touch his hair. They were soft, so soft I didn't want to let them go.
He turned me around again and stared straight into my eyes. He was handsome, he has beautiful brown eyes, with full lips and his hair, they were brown, and soft. He smelled good, like aftershave and cologne.
His thumb caressed my back, drawing circle through the thin dress. I closed my eyes and shivered in delight. This feeling...I've never felt like this before. It was so intense, so delicious.
I felt him leaning closer, our breath mingled.
"What's your name?" he whispered.
I opened my eyes and see him scrutinizing my face, his eyes caressing my features, like he was trying to remember every part of it.
"Taehee," I breathed out. "What about you? What's your name?"
He smiled, "Call me Taehyung."
He leaned closer and kissed my lips. He kissed me like a hungry man. He devoured me. His lips were so soft, they were sweet. He tasted like mint...and alcohol. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back vigorously. He bit my bottom lip and I moaned a little, making him groan. We pulled away for breath.
His eyes were hooded. He hugged me tighter, like he never wanted to let go. I hugged him too. We spent the night dancing and getting to know each other, plus make out session. For a moment, I had forgotten about my ex. Kissing Taehyung felt good and I was starting to get addicted.
-
It was getting late and I had to go home.
"Don't leave, please," he begged and my eyes softened.
"I'm not leaving forever, Taehyung. We can meet again," I chuckled and smiled softly.
He extended his palm. I looked at his hand, confused. "Give me your phone."
I gave it to him as he passed me his. We exchanged numbers.
"I'll text you, okay?" he grinned. I nodded and smiled.
Once I got home, I got a text from him.
Taehyung : You free tomorrow?
I grinned and replied to his text.
Taehee : Yeah
Well, the bartender was indeed correct. We can find lovers in the bar, and I surely need to thank Yoonmi for that.
