I'm currently helping Jin cooking for dinner. We rarely got time to hang out since we're quite busy with our work. But we decided to take a break for a week to spend time together after a long time.
"Yahhh Seokjin-ah, how was work?"
"Hmm.. being a head chef is really tiring. But I love the job, so, I'm fine. You?"
"A fashion designer is also tiring especially when there's an international event. I had to make all the dresses alone so I get busy a lot. Did you know? They asked me to make like thousands of dresses. So, I always get restless sleep every night because of the backpain I get everyday."
"That totally sucks!" he laughed.
"I know! But the payment is quite worthy."
After that, we did our work in comfortable silence. I was distracting my mind by cutting some vegetables.
"Ouch!" I said as I saw blood oozing out of my finger.
"Oh my god, Soohae! Why can't you be more careful?!" Jin said as he grabbed my hand to check the cut.
"I'm s-sorry, I-I didn't mean to b-burden y-you," I said, trying not to cry.
"Soohae-ah, don't cry. I'm not angry, baby. I'm just worried about you," Jin said, realizing my shaky voice and cleaned my wound carefully.
baby ...
This is really not good for my heart.
"It's okay now, Soohae-ah. I've finished cleaning the wound. You just rest here, I need to finish the cooking, okay?" he said calmly as I cooled down.
"Don't you need any help?"
Jin shook his head. "I don't want you getting hurt again."
Then he went back to his cooking. After a few minutes, I saw him serving the food on the dining table.
"Let's eat now!" He said cheerfully. I chuckled at his excitement.
"This food is really good!" I exclaimed with my full mouth.
"If you want to taste my cooking everyday, you would've to live with me," Jin chuckled. My face flushed.
"You have a boyfriend now?" Jin suddenly asked.
I hesitated, before answering, "Nope, I am too busy, remember? I have no time to find a man for my own," I replied to him.
"How about you then?" I asked, praying that he has no one to be his girlfriend.
"There's someone I've been liking for a long time, I just want to wait for the right time to confess to her," he said while smiling to himself.
My heart broke but I have to be happy for him. I smiled my best smile but it wavered a little. "A-aah, so who is she? Can I know her name?"
"Hmm.." he thought for awhile. "..she's Choi Soohae." My eyes widened. "She's the most beautiful woman I've ever met. I love her so much I dream of making her mine everyday. But I don-"
I jumped and hugged him. I looked up, "Is it true?"
Jin's eyes softened. "Yes, Soohae. It's true."
I cried and sobbed, "Why didn't you tell me? I like you too Seokjin-ah. Wait, no, I love you!" I sniffed.
Jin's smile widened. "Soohae-ah, will you be my girlfriend?"
"YES! I would love to. I've been liking you since I met you, Seokjin. And I don't want to let you go, ever."
He hugged and caressed my hair. He pulled away, holding my chin with his fingers, he leaned in and we kissed. Our first kiss.
After that, we cleaned the kitchen.
"I'm going upstairs for awhile!" I yelled at him from the stairs.
"Okay!" he replied.
I went to my room, change my clothes that I brought from home and brush my teeth. I went to his room and lied down on his bed. Jin came behind me and lied with me.
He hugged me, kissed my hair, "I love you, baby. Goodnight."
I leaned into him, "Goodnight."
