As I woke up in the morning, I quickly prepared everything for my birthday party. It was already 7.30 a.m, so people will start coming in half an hour. I took a shower as fast as I can and wore myself the new dress I bought with my boyfriend, Hoseok.
Did my invitations disappear?
It was already 8.15 a.m. but there were still no one coming. Weird. If I was not mistaken, I wrote 8 a.m. in the invitations. Where were all the people? Maybe they were a bit late.
I kept waiting until it was already 9 a.m. I thought I already put all the invitations in the letter box. I saw the postman taking all the letters out and sending them too.

Where was Hoseok? He promised to come on time. I tried to call him but he didn't answer. I saw my ice cream cake already melting. I already decorated this room with pastel colours and decorations. It was already 9.30 a.m. I was still waiting for all the people while playing with Mrs. Griz, my toy bear friend. I met her while I was shopping with Hoseok. I asked Hoseok to bring her home. At first, he refused but after a few minutes, he finally agreed.

It's already 10 a.m. I've waited for two hours. Are they gonna come or not? Maybe Hoseok is on his way right now. Is Minhyun coming? Is Jirae coming? Is Jaemin coming? Are my classmates coming? Where are my parents? Are they coming? Mrs. Griz, why does this make me hate them slowly? It shouldn't be like this, right? It felt like I've been stabbed behind my back. My ribbons are coming out. After a while, Hoseok finally came.
"Hoseok!" I greeted him with a cheerful smile and a hug.
But he didn't respond to it. I break the hug and saw his eyes quivering.
"Why Hobi? Is something wrong?" I asked him, not knowing anything.
"Come sit first, the cake is ready, see, I decorated the room myse--" He cut my words before I can finish it.
"Somin, I need to talk to you," Hoseok said firmly.
I stopped talking.
"What do you want to talk about?" I asked.
"Somin, I want to break up with you," Hoseok said, not missing a beat.
"W-What are you talking about, H-Hoseok?" I frowned, my lips quivering.
"I'm sorry, Somin. I just found someone else, that's all," Hoseok replied.
"But H-Hoseok--" Hoseok cut my words off once again.
"I need to go, Somin. I'm sorry. Enjoy your birthday party," Hoseok left my house, leaving me crying alone.

Is it funny leaving me here on my lonely birthday party, crying after my sudden breakup? Is this the joke they prepared for me? Are they enjoying the joke right now? Why am I crying? Why are these tears coming out from my eyes, Mrs. Griz?
