Avery
I woke up in familiar arms which made me happy. He had his arm latched around my waist. He had his head laying against my back. I smiled as I gently stretched my body, I tried my best not to wake him up. "Stop moving." He groaned as I let out a small bit of laughter. I adjusted myself to make us both comfortable. "Well I cant go back to sleep." I laughed as did he. He looked up at me with his perfect brown eyes. "I'm kidding, I love you." He smiled brightly as he ran his fingers threw his hair.
"I love you." I smiled down at him. I could look at him forever without getting bored. "Um, I need to tell you something." He pulled all his attention to me. "For years now, I have re-" I was interrupted by someone knocking on the door.
"Dude! Get the hell up!" Jc yelled through the door. He didn't know Kian was in here, so Kian kept quiet. "It's almost one. You need to get up!" Jc continued to yell and beat on the door. I pulled myself out of my bed and opened the door.
"Dude! Shut the hell up!" I yelled at him mocking one of his comments. "Its almost one. You need to shut up!" I mocked him as Kian laughed.
"Is Kian in here?" He asked as he started to pull himself inside of my room. He seen Kian and awkwardly waved. "Hey daddy!" He said in an awkward girly voice. He pulled himself back into the hallway. "Is this a thing?" I smacked his arm as I looked around.
"Shut up!" I scoffed in a lower voice. "We aren't a thing. Don't freak out! " Jc nodded as he pulled his hand over where I smacked him. "He doesn't like me." Jc rolled his eyes as he walked off. "Don't be sassy!" Jc started swinging his hips as he walked off.
"Get ready! We are all going out to lunch!" He put the emphasis on all. I had gotten myself into a bad habit of never wanting to hang out with anyone. I liked being by myself.

I sat next to Kian like always. He always picked on me which was incredibly annoying, but I loved it. He kept shoving his elbow into my arm or into my side. Every single time I would try to take a drink he would smack my arm. He was stealing my food. "Kian!" I yelled as he stole more food off my plate. He has eaten more of my food than I have. "I am actually hungry, can you please stop?" I smarted off. "I just wanna eat." I lowered my voice.
"I'm sorry." He laid his head on my shoulder as he patted my leg. "I'll stop." He smiled at me before leaving me alone.
The rest of lunch was quiet except for the small talk, Kian didn't mess with me. I didn't like it actually, I liked the attention. I am not going to lie actually finishing my food was amazing. "Avery. " Jc said as he looked around Kian. "You are riding home with me." Kian gave him a confused look.
"Why cant she ride back with me? She rode here with me why cant she ride back?" Kian was a little bit upset, but Jc didn't care.
"Because she is allowed to have other friends." Jc rolled his eyes. "Avery, you are riding home with me. You have to." I nodded which caused Kian to roll his eyes.
"Someone is getting jealous." Bobby said with a small smirk forming on his lips. Kian kicked him under the table and shot him an evil glare. "Ow!" Bobby pulled his hand down to his skin.
"Why don't I ride with you Kian?" Franny suggested but he shook his head. "Why not?" He shrugged and his eyes fell.
"Because you're not Avery." Corey joked, but Kian didn't find it funny. He shot Corey an evil glare before he kicked him. "Stop being a dick." Corey scoffed as he pulled his hand over his shin.

"Why did I have to ride with you?" I asked Jc as we pulled onto the main highway. "Why couldn't I ride back with Kian?" He stayed silent for a minute.
"Are you and him dating?" He asked just like before.
"No!" I exclaimed. "Kian doesn't like me like that. He doesn't like me in the way I like him." I frowned. "Why?" I asked.
"Because Fran asked." My heart ached. "I think she likes him." I frowned as my eyes fell to the floorboard. "No, I'm kidding" He laughed, but I didn't. I smacked the back of his head. "Everyone in the house wants you guys to get together and be happy, so I just wanted to talk to you about it." I did have a rush of relief come over my body.
"Trust me, I would date him. I would marry him, but the feeling isn't mutual. He will never like me in the way I like him, and it is very heartbreaking." Jc frowned. "I want to tell him, I really do. I just don't think it will come out right. I don't want to spill my heart out to some one who will never feel the same. " I wanted to cry, but I kept it all in.
"I will talk to him but not make it obvious. I will figure this out. " He reassured me as we pulled up to the house. "Okay? I am going to make this happen." He placed his hand on my knee before he shot me a cheesy smile.
"Avery!" Kian yelled as he ran out of the house. "You are home!" He instantly ran to my side of the car. "I missed you." He pulled me out of the car and threw me over his shoulder. "How was the car ride without me?" Kian asked in a smart tone.
"It was okay, but it wasn't the same without you." I smiled.
"Good!" He snapped loudly as my body jerked. "You are not allowed to have any kind of fun without me." I half laughed as he sat me on the couch. He plopped down on the couch beside me. He picked my legs up and laid them over his. "This is a habit, I'm sorry." I shrugged as made myself comfortable.
