Adopted By Who?

So, There's This Boy...

We were two months into this tour. School has already started and I was missing it. Perfect. We were in Houston for three days for a festival. The guys and I were walking around the venue. It was really cool. There's going to be around twenty five bands here, including the bands we were on tour with. All of the merch tents were set up around the big lawn.

I looked at today's sets. I Prevail, All Time Low, Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember, and Motionless In White were playing today. Awesome.

I tapped dad's shoulder, "Hey, can we go to Motionless In White's merch tent?"

"Sure," he said.

We all walked to the tent. When we got there, Chris and Ricky were sitting at the tent. My eyes went wide and I grabbed dad's arm. He looked at me, "You okay?"

"I didn't know they were going to be at the tent!" I whisper yelled.

"Aww, is someone shy?" Vic asked.

"Shut up!"

They dragged me to the tent and Chris greeted us, "Hey guys. Is this the girl I've been hearing about?"

Dad nodded proudly, "Yup, this is my daughter Kaylen."

"Nice to meet you Kaylen," Chris said.

"Same to you. I've always wanted to meet you." I said awkwardly. Chris and Ricky laughed. Ugh. I couldn't get anymore awkward.

I busied myself and looked at the shirts while the guys talked to Ricky and Chris. I picked a black A.M.E.R.I.C.A. shirt and paid for it. With dad's money of course. That sounded bratty...

"Dad, can I go to I Prevail's set?" I asked. I was bored out of my mind.

Dad came into the front lounge, "Sure. Make sure you have your phone."

I checked my back pocket, "I got it. See ya after the set."

He kissed my forehead, "Bye, love you."

"Love ya."

I hopped off of the bus and went to the stage. I Prevail was just starting their set, so I pushed my way to the front. A few songs later I found myself in the mosh pit. So far I hadn't gotten hurt. Then someone went flying into me. It was a boy and his nose was bleeding. I helped him out of the crowd. When we were out I looked at him fully. Holy shit. He's hot. He kinda looked like Ricky Horror. His black hair was covering his face, but I could tell he had ocean blue eyes. He was taller than I was, but he looked to be around my age. "Are you okay dude?" I asked.

He held his hand to his nose, "Uh, besides my nose, yeah I think so."

"Come on, I'll help you to the medic tent."

We walked to the tent and they gave him a rag to hold to his nose and they cleaned his nose up. After the bleeding stopped, he cleaned his face and fixed himself. He fixed his hair so it was out of his eyes. He had snake bites and a nose piercing. He was wearing all black and checkered Vans, just like the ones I was wearing.

I decided to introduce myself instead of stare at him, "I'm Kaylen Perry. So, uh, how's your nose?"

He smiled, it was so cute, "It's fine. I'm Eric Green. And if you don't mind me asking, are you Tony Perry's daughter?"

"Yup, my dad is a turtle."

He laughed, "Awesome. I've wanted to meet you so much, I just didn't expect to get thrown at you."

I smiled, "Hey, whatever works. So, uh, you want to go watch Bring Me's set?"

"Definitely. Sorry I made you miss I Prevail's show."
