Two weeks. I've been back at the orphanage for two weeks. I'm back to my old habits of puking all day every day. And instead of crying over pictures of my real parents, I'm crying over my second parents. I guess I just wasn't meant to have parents.
I still go to school with Michaela, Gabe, and Eric. And I still talk to all of my band member friends, just not...them. Everyone knows about how they took me back and know not to bring it up unless I do. I talk to Kellin the most.
Speaking of the devil, my phone went off, signaling I had a text from Kellin.
From Kellin: Hey girly. How you doing?
I sighed, he should know by now.
To Kellin: I've definitely been better.
From Kellin: They're trying their hardest to get you back Kaylen.
I rolled my eyes.
To Kellin: I don't care anymore. I just wish I would have never been adopted.
From Kellin: Hey! If you weren't adopted we wouldn't be besties!!
I laughed a little.
To Kellin: True, true. Well I'm gonna go. Talk later Kells.
From Kellin: Bye, love you Kaylen!!! :P
-possibly triggering-
I chuckled at his last text, then dug into my make up bag. I picked up the metal and examined it for the billionth time. I've never done it before, but I'm considering it. A lot.
Kellin's POV
"Kellin, what's wrong? You've been upset lately."
I grabbed Katelynne's hand and squeezed it and kissed her cheek, "I'm just a little stressed about Kaylen. She's not doing well, I can feel it."
"Well, what do you want to do about it?"
"Babe, she's like my best friend and second daughter, I just want her to be happy. I don't know what I want to do about it, though."
She thought for a moment, "Well, and just hear me out, what if we take her in? Just until Tony can get this sorted out."
I looked at her, "Kate, are you serious?!"
"I just don't want her to be in an orphanage. And she would be in good hands here. And I know it would take some stress off of Tony and the guys."
I hugged her as tight as I could, "Ahhh you're the best wife ever!"
Vic's POV
(A/N: For the next few chapters the POVs are going to be spotty and everywhere.)
I'm worried about Tony. He barely eats or sleeps anymore. He's getting depressed again. We're all kind of in a slump. But we better get our heads on straight. We have a tour next week.
I walked into the living room, where Tony was, as usual, talking to whoever it is that will fix this situation. He hung up and sighed. I sat next to him, "Tone, maybe you should take a break. And you know, eat and sleep."
"I'll sleep when I have Kaylen back. I don't even know how this happened Vic! I didn't fucking want to take her back and I hate myself for letting this happen!"
"Tony, calm down. I think you need some sleep and maybe when you wake up, you'll feel better. This isn't your fault."
Kaylen's POV
I hate myself. I can't believe I just did that. Vic will be so upset and disappointed. Wait, they don't care anymore. Right.
There was a knock on my door, "Kaylen, someone is here to see you."
"Okay."
I wasn't expecting anyone, but it's okay. I put a few bracelets on and went down to the main room. Kellin, Katelynne, Rowan, Liam, and Copeland were all there waiting for me. I smiled, ignoring my stinging wrist, "Hey, what are you guys doing here?"
Kellin came up and hugged me, "Welcome to the family Kaylen!"
I pulled away from the hug, "Wait, seriously?!"
"I wouldn't lie about this," Kellin said.
Kellin adopted me. Holy fuck. I looked at him, "Y-You're not gonna bring me back, are you?"
"Of course not."
"Yeah. That's what they said." I muttered.
"Well we're not them. The only time we'll leave you is when we can give you back to Tony."
"I-I don't think I want to go back to him..."
(A/N: Dun dun duuuuunnn!!! You guys probably hate me. Whoops. Sorry it's so short.)
