Chapter 20

       The next day was intresting.

        It was difficult to explain Dogscar's restored memories and Moon's sudden appearance.

    "Another rouge is joining us - no, two rogues, he has his memories back - NO WAIT, more she's having kits!" Darksky complained at his announcement, pointing an accusing claw at Moon, who sat in silence at his protest, she was so uncomfortable, these cats had done her so much wrong, yet now she was joining them. It just didn't seem right.

       Dogscar however, was outraged, "What have we ever done to you?" Moon saw him unsheath his claws in fury.

    "Enough!" Smokestar lept surprisingly swiftly between the toms for a cat his age, "If Moon wants to stay, let her. Conditions are said to be harsh in rogue territory, cats have been known to die fighting for prey; That's no place to send a queen!" This made Moon feel somehow worse, even though she knew this cat was trying to help her.

        Smokestar turned to his deputy, "Plus, Dogscar has proven himself loyal to StoneClan. His past shouldn't change that." Dogscar dipped his head in respectful thanks to his leader.

       Dogscar turned to meet Moon's yellow gaze. She remembered when she had learned he didn't remember much. It had made her uneasy at first, until Dogscar had told her, "I'll remember even more how much I love you every day."

It was true.
