Shea wonders to herself on the bus back to school with her second place prize resting in her lap. Where is this thing with Sasha going? She's fine with someone she can just have flings with, but she wants there to be at least some boundaries so neither of them get more attached than they already are. Shea exhales before resting her head against Katya's shoulder, "What's the matter? You were the only one who won a place that means you go to state!" Katya chimes before playing with the other girls hair, "Yes I know I'm just exhausted I guess." Shea sighs as she leans into Katya's soft touch. Shea makes sure to hide the ribbon in her bag so she doesn't draw anymore attention to herself than she already has
"Where's your ribbon?" Sasha softly asks as Shea collects the last of her drawings and paintings from Sasha's classroom, "Oh in my bag." Shea chokes out.
"Why's that?" Sasha asks before walking towards Shea.
Shea looks at Sasha out of the corner of her eye in suspicion before answering, "I don't like attention. I felt bad because no one else got anything."
Sasha chuckles as she sits down in a seat a couple feet away from Shea, "You did have the best painting I'd hate to say because well now you're in Raja's class."
"It's for the best." Shea states without a hint of emotion, "I don't see how mine was, 'The best.' Shea exclaims with air quotes, "Everyone's painting was amazing. I mean Katya's was phenomenal."
"Your's showed raw emotion, and not very many kids your age know how to channel that quite yet. That's where Raja and I step in." Sasha smiles as she watches Shea stack and organize everything.
"Are we just fuck buddies?" Shea abruptly asks.
Sasha nearly falls off of the chair once she hears those words leave Shea's lips, "Uhm uh I don't know Shea is that what you want?"
Shea shrugs her shoulders and exhales, "I honestly don't know. All I know is I don't want you with anyone else." She sternly says before shoving what she can fit into her bag.
Sasha's heart flutters at the jealous side Shea showing through the cracks of her walls, "Trust me I'm not interested in anyone else" Sasha laughs then stops when she realizes no one else is laughing, "I just- I don't wanna hold you back from anything." Sasha admits before leaning forward on her elbows.
Shea sighs, "No one can hold me back. I'm my own goddamn person I can't believe you'd think for one second that I'd let anyone even you hold me back." Shea scoffs, and steps back giving Sasha a sour look.
"Don't look at me like that Shea. I'm allowed to worry about you... you're the only person I've ever really cared for." Sasha demands before putting her head down in shame.
Shea's face softens beginning to understand Sasha, and why she probably ran away from their situation. Once the clouds of sexual tension cleared she had no other choice than to confront her own feelings then fled.
Shea drops what she's doing walking towards Sasha lifting her chin up between her index finger, and thumb, "Promise me something?"
Sasha looks up at Shea's soft brown eyes, "Anything."
"Don't leave me again."
