One week has passed after their last encounter in Sasha's classroom, and Shea hasn't been in school since then. Sasha sits down during her lunch break as her heart begins to race with worry. She's blown up Shea's phone with voicemail's, and text messages receiving nothing in return.
Once her lunch break was over Sasha lifts her head from her book that she was currently reading to find a pail Shea standing in her classroom, "I- I- I had to come to school because I can't miss anymore days." Shea collapses to the ground as her face wells up with tears. Sasha opens her mouth in shock immediately running to the young girls side, "What's happened is everything ok love?" Shea continues to sob and Sasha lifts her up from the concrete ground to her desk, "What's going on love?"
Once Shea is only sniffling and hick upping every now, and again as a result of crying so hard she finally talks, "M-My dad." Sasha gasps as she pulls the younger girl into her arms onto her lap, "No no no no." Sasha whispers as the other girl holds her close, "I don't think he's going to make it this time."
Shea wipes her tears then looks around the room with tired dull eyes, "I need to get out of here." She states as a cold glossy look spreads across her face, "What?" Sasha asks with a confused tone, "I just I need to leave. Go away for a while... disappear." Sasha shakes her head, "Running away from your problems isn't going to fix anything." Sasha states still holding Shea close. Shea lifts her head staring into Sasha's eyes, "And how would you know?" Shea fearlessly continues eye contact with Sasha, "Oh yeah." Shea lowers her head with remorse, "Yeah." Sasha replies, "I'll cancel my plane ticket, and I can spend as much time with you as you want if you feel that's what you need." Shea shakes her head, "You need to see your dad... and so do I." Shea whispers, "I can spend my spring break with out you." Shea chokes out. Sasha presses her fore head against Shea's, "I'm always around if you ever need anything love."
