Beca:
I was currently in the back garden, sitting with my feet in the pool when my dad shouted my name. I huffed but headed inside and into the kitchen where he was.
"You have school in 10 minutes, are you ready?" He asked
"Yeah, I just need to put my socks and shoes on" I told him
"Can you behave today please? I don't need you getting kicked out of the lesson again. Be more like your brother" He said
"Dad" I sighed
I hated when he compared me to Mason. Made it sound like he was the better child.
"Only joking but please do behave" He smiled
I just nodded and went and put some socks on, along with my white converse.
"Ready? Mason left early since he had something to do at school" Ruby said and I just nodded
We headed out to the Audi and then made our way to the school. I was quiet the whole way which Ruby was confused by, I could tell. Once we got to school I thanked her for the lift and said a quick goodbye before heading in.
I sat at the back next to Chase and behind Chloe. They both said good morning which I said back of course.
"You guys want to go cinema tonight? I will ask the others at lunch" Chase asked
"Sure, sounds good" I smiled
"I would but I don't get paid until Friday" Chloe replied
"We could always go the weekend instead? How about we all go to the park tonight and just chat and chill?" I asked
They both agreed, I wasn't going to offer to pay for Chloe because she would only say no and plus I didn't want to upset her or offend her. I actually have a free lesson next which is good. Once homeroom was out I headed out the front and decided to sit on the bleachers. If anyone else had a free then they would come here too since we always sit here.
"Hey" I heard Chloe and Jesse say
If I knew Chloe had a free then I would have walked here with her, at least I know for next time!
"You know you guys can still go to the cinema tonight right? Don't change the plans for me" She said
"We are all friends, plus I don't really want to be at the cinema tonight anyways, way too nice today" I said and Jesse agreed
"Shit! I forgot to do my History homework, I will meet you guys at break time" Jesse huffed, running off the the library
"Are you okay?" Chloe asked
"Oh yeah, I am fine" I smiled weakly
I wasn't in the best mood today. I know my dad may have been joking but it still hurts that he said it. I know I am not like Mason and that probably sucks for him.
"You aren't but you don't have to tell me, we aren't very close to talk much" She said
"I want us to be close. I want us to good friends you know. You seem like such an amazing and loyal person and I want us to become good friends" I said
She smiled and agreed.
"So are you going to tell me whats wrong?" She asked with a small smirk
"Like I told you, I am fine" I said
"You know, for friends to become close. They need to tell each other everything"
"I know that, I just don't let people in easily. The only people who I really talk to is my sister and Jesse. I will talk about this stuff with you on day though" I told her
For the rest of the lesson we talked, getting to know one another and I do have to say she seems like such a sweet person. Totally different to me but still nice. I was about to ask her something when I got a phone call, it was my dad.
"Hey dad" I said
"The series 2 watch has just been done and I want you to test it out for me. Can you tell Mason too since he isn't answering his phone" He told me
"Sure, so I don't need my series 1?" I asked
"Well you can keep it if you want too of course but you can always get another one if you needed" He said
I said okay and a quick goodbye before hanging up. I took my series 1 off and handed it to Chloe. I didn't want it. I have another one at home anyway so if I didn't like the series 2, I probably would because it won't be much different.
"Dad wants me to try out the series 2 so I will just get to keep it so have it. I don't need it, plus that one is just a spare. It isn't a big deal so just take it" I told her
She looked shocked but instead of saying something she just smiled widely and gave me a massive hug. I hugged back and laughed at her.
