Me and Jesse were currently walking to school since we had been forced to as neither of our parents would give us a lift. How rude right? I'm joking, walking isn't that bad but when it's a 30-minute walk and it's freezing out, it's a problem.
"Is that Chloe?" Jesse asked
I turned my head to look where he was and I noticed Chloe smiling and laughing with some girl.
"Yeah. Why?" I stated
"I've just never seen her hang out with that girl before" He shrugged as we walked to homeroom
Why did I care? I shouldn't. Chloe is just a friend and that is all she will ever be, right? I just huffed, sitting in my seat at the back, behind Hunter and Jesse. While us three were talking Chloe walked in with the same girl, sitting next to her. Weird, she normally sits with us.
"Oh I knew I recognised her, she has been in our homeroom since the start" Jesse spoke up
"Never even noticed her before"
May have sounded a little blunt but whatever.
"Alright guys so before the day starts, I just wanted to introduce our new student. This is Stacie Conrad" Our teacher announced
I looked up and wow. She was pretty!
"She's hot" Harry said, loud enough for everyone to hear
"Don't swing that way" She shrugged
I laughed, along with Hunter and Jesse. Harry did not like to be turned down by anyone. He was the school biggest fuck boy and hurt every girl he ever dates. I'm not even sure why they agree to meet up with him, knowing it'll last a few weeks before he hops on to the next girl.
Since the only space was next to me or Harry, Stacie walked over to me. Before sitting down she just smiled and I nodded, letting her know I didn't care. Chloe wasn't going to sit there so someone may as well. I have no idea why her being with another girl bothers me so much, I don't have feelings for her!
"Freshman?" Hunter asked
"Yeah, sadly. I just moved here last week from UnderOak" She told us
"They have the worst sports students ever. Me and Beca went there for a track competition and they tried to trip me up twice" He groaned
"Guessing you are Beca" She smirked at me
"That would be me. Why did you join on a Friday?"
"The school made me, I had no choice. Stupid, I know" She smiled and I nodded
After the two boys introduced their selves, we checked to see if we had any lessons together. We had quite a few together which was alright. She seemed nice and we would probably get on really well.
Once the first bell had gone, everyone headed out to their first class. I didn't actually have one which was annoying as I basically came in for homeroom, could have slept longer! Stacie and Hunter headed off while me and Jesse headed over to the bleachers. Free lessons were for studying in the library but does anyone actually do that?
"So you and Stacie could make a cute couple?" Jesse smirked
"I mean she is really pretty but doesn't seem my type. We've known her for 5 minutes Jess" I laughed
"Hey guys!" Chloe smiled, walking over to us with the same girl
Really?
"This is Sasha" She introduced
Sounds like a hooker name if you ask me. I didn't bother say hi to her, kinda just gave her a glare. I'm not sure why I dislike her when I've never even spoken or seen her before. It's just bugging me for some reason.
"Was just coming to ask you guys if you wanted to join us both at the fair tonight" Chloe smiled
"Me and Jess are meeting up with Hunter and Stacie. Sorry" I shrugged
Before Jesse said something stupid, I glared at him.
"Oh yeah, we are going round to Bec's house. Staying in the pool house for the weekend" He laughed nervously
"Alright, you guys never mentioned anything"
"Last minute thing, just to get to know Stacie better," I told her
"Well have fun"
"We will" I said
Sasha kind of glared at me but went back to talking with Chloe, they both stayed, sitting in front of us. Ugh, she is still here? Before I could ask Jesse a question, my phone rang. It was Ruby.
"Hey?"
"Hey, Bec. Dad wants your opinion on the new phones and watched coming out so don't make any plans this weekend" She told me
Seriously?
"I have friends coming over for the weekend though"
"Hmm. Okay, they can help. You know he always wants a teenagers opinion" She said
"Yeah. Tell him not to do red again though" I said and she laughed but agreed
We quickly said goodbye before I hung up. Now I really did have plans.
"My dad wants opinions on the new iPhones so you guys need to help too" I smiled at Jess
"Awesome! Are we going to the office then?" He asked
Jesse was always so excited when he had anything to do with this. He's only been there once and was like a kid on Christmas day.
"Yeah"
"Awesome" Sasha piped up
"What?"
Jesse and I said at the same time.
"We get to help!"
Is she stupid? Does she need help? Idiot.
"No, you really don't. I meant my friends, the ones staying around my house" I laughed slightly
She didn't say anything to that, which I was thankful for, her voice really annoys me and so does her face. Okay, everything annoys me. What did Chloe like about her and why are they suddenly hanging out with one another?
Chloe and her idiot then left to go sit somewhere else. Oh, thank god!
"Guessing you don't like her?"
"That obvious huh?" I questioned
"Just a tad. To be honest, I don't either"

I was in the second homeroom which is what we always had after lunch so the school could check everyone was still here. Chloe walked in, followed by the idiot. She quickly said something to her before walking over to me and sitting in the spare seat which was in front.
"Do you and Jesse have a problem with Sasha?" She asked
"Definitely not. Why would we?"
"You were being so blunt and rude earlier"
"Nope. Just thought she was a little stupid thinking she would be coming to help this weekend when I haven't known who she was until today" I shrugged
"Why have you suddenly started hanging round with her?" I quickly asked before she could reply to me
"She was in my History class so we just started talking yesterday. I still want to hang out with you guys too. Mabe you could all get to know Sasha?"
"No thank you. I don't really like her"
"Oh" She mumbled
"Yeah...You carry on hanging out with her. You obviously like her"
She only nodded, walking back over to her.
