1979 Alernate Reality

Lindsey asks Stevie

"How are you here with me Angel?"

"I mean you've always been here but I thought I'd never see any one, much less you, from my reality."

Stevie responds

"I was taking a walk on the beach on the night of your Vegas show when I saw a strange curtain of light coming over the ocean."

"Before I knew it, it overtook me and I was transported to this reality in 1975."

"I came to just outside the door to our apartment and then your dad appeared and said he was my guide to this place, this temporal Nexus."

"He also said you would be here at some point."

Lindsey's eyes widen and he says

"You have seen my dad here too?"

Stevie responds

"Yes I've been seeing Morris on and off since I came here."

"I went into the apartment after talking to him and you told me you wanted us not to join Fleetwood Mac and then asked me to marry you."

"I was very happy, we got married and not long after I got pregnant with Wendy."

"I went back and finished school and became an art teacher while you learned the resturant business from Joseph."

"We bought our home and have been living a happy family life."

"I've enjoyed being a teacher, mother and housewife."

Lindsey is absolutley shocked. He takes a minute remembering he was there for that moment as well. He cant believe his Stevie was the one who accepted his marriage proposal. What a strange dream this is he thinks. He then says to Stevie

"You've been here all these years, didn't you say you got transported here on the night of my Vegas show?"

Stevie responds

"Yes it was that night I was there and then all the sudden here. And I'm glad, these have been the best years of my life, I didn't want to leave."

Lindsey replies

"That's the night I encountered it as well, I was driving on the desert before dawn in a convertible."

"It must of traveled east after you saw it come over the ocean."

"What I don't understand is why if we both arrived here at close to the same time but you've been living here for years and I've only been here a couple days?"

Suddenly Morris Buckingham is standing beside them both. He says

"Its like I said to both of you, time has no meaning here."

"You can live here for years or days it doesn't matter, there is no traditional passing of time like on earth."

"Now that you've found each other you can live here together in this time, move around in the past of future together or go your seperate ways."

Stevie and Lindsey look at each other intently. Lindsey takes Stevie's hand in his and says

"Angel we've got a second chance here I don't want to be parted from you."

Stevie runs her fingers down the side of Lindsey's face with her other hand and says

"Ive been living here with you and Wendy for four years baby, I don't know if I would ever want to go anywhere else."
