THE CELL IN WHICH ELIZABETH TYLER WAS confined within reminded her of what could only be described as a large fishbowl. Shaped like a sphere, with walls of thick glass and metal stabilisers, and barren of any furniture, the place couldn't really be called 'homely'. No one had spoken to her since the red head had left the interrogation. Even the guards, whom had all but dragged her to the cell, hadn't conferred in conversation despite her best efforts to grant herself a reaction. They simply walked like robotic soldiers to her designated room, inputting pass codes for at least four doors before even getting into the room and locked her within her new chambers. It was isolating. It was a feeling that Elizabeth should have been so used to but, down to her newfound companionship, she had become used to feeling the constant breeze of a friend nearby.

Elizabeth wasn't alone, though she felt it. Jesus, it was the opposite. She felt like a fucking endangered animal with the copious amounts of people outside of her cell who all seemed to be examining her. Examining her for what? Elizabeth didn't know, but the constant nudge of feeling people eyeballing her with a wariness, that reminded her of how she had once looked at others, was beginning to become incredibly aggravating.

After idly standing in her new home, hesitantly touching the glass and inspecting it for any weakness' despite the hundred or so eyes on her, Elizabeth sat against one of the thick metal beams. Pushing her legs to her chest, loathing how vulnerable she appeared but also assuring herself that people couldn't see her from the blind spots within her gaze which, though it was only a small reassurance, which helped lull the girl to calming herself.

Every move she made, people around her flinched. She could almost feel the fear radiate from the scientists that had gathered closer to the transparent walls in order to get a better look at their subject: her. It was unnerving how frightened they all seemed of her. Only the guards did not bat an eyelash when she moved. Elizabeth supposed that they had been vigorously trained not to show any emotion when in the room with an enemy, it could get them killed, so even if she were a danger to them, she doubted they'd show anything but distain.

It took hours. Hours of sitting and watching the world around her move. Hours of feeling as though she were trapped inside a silent movie. Hours of slowly feeling the bored numbness wash over her, feeling as though she'd never be trusted again, and feeling as though if one more representative of the scientific field pressed their nose up against the glass of her cage to get a better look at her, she'd rip her own hair out. It took hours before Mr. Eyepatch came sauntering, okay, more like storming, in and began barking orders. The loud boom of him being a bossy bitch was like music to Elizabeth's ears. Finally, after hours, someone had spoken above an indistinguishable murmur.
