In the week that had passed, now going into a second, changes began to become noticeable.
Grimmjow stayed in a hotel, away from the Urahara Shop and away from you. His day had consisted of going to work, getting food, and an occasional moping espada... which didn't happen often.
Hana never called him back after their fight, but Mai, his current mate, would call multiple times in a day. She left threatening text messages and horrible voicemails, demanding to know where he was and why their last encounter had ended so abruptly. Perhaps she wasn't as mature as Grimmjow bad though, leaving death threats is just plain rude.
"Grr!" Grimmjow growled into his pillow once more, his cellphone going off again. Grabbing his cellphone, Grimmjow looked at the caller id... Mai.
"Tch." Grimmjow replied to his phone, before tossing it behind him and onto the floor. He was getting frustrated with her.
Moments later, Grimmjow lay in bed, finally asleep, and his cellphone laying on the floor broken and in pieces. He did want a new phone anyways.
The next day Grimmjow was grumpy and frustrated at work. The day was only half over, and he had already finished the bento you had delivered for him.
"Jiro!" Grimmjow called out loudly as he walked out of his office. Good thing the shop was still empty, he would have scared the customers right out of the store.
"Ye- yeah?" Jiro answered as he slightly jumped, almost dropping his drink. Why is Grimmjow so angry lately?
"What can I get for my woman?" Grimmjow asked frustrated, the expression on his face evident of that. He was tired of living in a hotel, he was tired of being away, he was tired of that gut feeling that sat at the bottom of his stomach every time he thought of you crying."You still haven't apologized?" Jiro asked, his eyebrow cocked in surprise.
"No." Grimmjow growled. He hated asking for help, but he needed it.
"Grrimmjow, it's been a week. Why haven't you apologized yet?" Daichi asked. Grimmjow only growled in response, making Daichi jump."Just get her something she's always wanted." Jiro suggested with a shrug. Jiro really didn't know what to get person as an apology gift. He usually said 'sorry' if he made someone cry, and own up to his wrong doings. Grimmjow was different though.
Grimmjow only groaned at the idea. He knew exactly what you have always wanted, but he didn't want it, so he always said 'No'.
"You better be fucking sure about this." Grimmjow threatened, he had a big feeling he was going to regret this.
Once again Grimmjow had left work early. He had bought a new cellphone, and stopped by a shop to get you a gift. Grimmjow was already regretting getting you this gift. It wasn't something you usually get someone as an apology gift...
"Why the fuck did I listen to Jiro?" Grimmjow cursed to himself as he carried the gift back to the Urahara Shop. It was in a box that had multiple holes in it.
Arriving at the shop, Grimmjow expected the worse. He expected every shinigami to stop him when he reached the premises, Zaraki leading them. Or he just expected to not be let back in. But nothing of the sorts happened, and Grimmjow was free to go in and leave his gift on the usual table for it to be found. Then he would leave.
"Leaving again Grimmjow- san?" A familiar voice stopped him.
"Tch, old man." Grimmjow answered rudely. "Thought I wasn't welcomed in this damn place."
"Well as your guardian while your under your house arrest, you technically do live here." Urahara replied with a playful smile, until he pulled out his fan and covered his face. "So welcome home son!" Urahara said with a laugh, playing his character of being Grimmjow's father. Grimmjow only sighed at Urahara's antics.
