Returning home, Grimmjow still felt like crap. Which has been happening lately. He was letting the days slip by, one by one. And each time he did, realization would hit, you were no longer going to be by his side for long.

And as much as he wanted to make the most of his last day with you, there wasn't very much time he could spend with you. You were to busy preparing to leave for tomorrow, and Grimmjow had been called into work because Daichi had called in sick. As much as Jiro and Daichi didn't want him to come in, they needed some sort of manager in the store.

Coming home, Grimmjow came home late, and you were already asleep.

Tomorrow, that was it...

And that was the thought that Grimmjow was going to sleep with. You were going to leave again, he was going to be waking up alone again, he wasn't going to have your cooking, he wasn't going to have your affection. Grimmjow wasn't going to have you anymore.

But that night, Grimmjow couldn't sleep. Not with those kind of thoughts running through his head.

"That's it." Grimmjow kept muttering to himself under his breath. Over and over again he would repeat it. Not knowing that he was surprisingly getting louder.

"Shutup Grimmjow!" You whispered harshly, throwing one of your extra pillows at him. "I'm trying to sleep."
"You shutup!" Grimmjow answered back, throwing back your pillow. "Damn woman."
"Well quit talking in your sleep." You replied, lying back down on your bed. "You keep mumbling something about 'that's it', or something."

Grimmjow growled in return as you acted like you didn't know what he was talking about. This was it, tomorrow you were leaving. After that, he wasn't sure if he would see you again. But you acted like it was nothing, and it bothered him. You made it sound like it was unimportant, like he wasn't important.

"I know I leave tomorrow." You answered bitterly. "Quit reminding me. It's not like I want to leave. It's just that I have too."
"Why?" Grimmjow asked in return.
"Cause that's just the way it is."
"Bullshit."

At that comment, you sat up, glaring at Grimmjow.

"I came here on vacation, to get away from all the work! As if I expected to see you!" You said in annoyance.
"You left me!" Grimmjow answered back harshly.
"You cheated on me!" You answered in frustration. "You're still as selfish as ever, you'll never change."

Just as those words left your lips, Grimmjow lunged at you. Landing on top of you as his large hand encircled itself around your neck.

"Go ahead." You choked out, as you grabbed onto Grimmjow's wrist. "You can keep my dead body here you selfish ass."

You were pissing him off. Cause at that comment, Grimmjow lifted your head slightly, and slammed it into the floor.

"Shut the fuck up." Grimmjow growled. "I'm tired of your damn bullshit.
"It's not bullshit if it's true."

You closed your eyes as you saw Grimmjow raise his fist.

But it never made contact with your face.

Opening your eyes slowly, from the corner of your eyes, you could see Grimmjow's arm beside you. He punched the floor beside your head.

"It's bullshit..." Grimmjow said in a soft whisper. "That you're fucking leaving me again."
"Grimmj-"
"I did nothing wrong this time." Grimmjow continued, his voice a whisper. "I fucking did nothing wrong this time!"

You stared at Grimmjow as he said all his frustration.

"I was committed to you!" Grimmjow went on, causing you to stare at him with wide eyes. That was one word that you never expected to leave Grimmjow's lips. "You are everything to me." He mumbled.

Silence fell between you and Grimmjow, there was nothing else left to say. So slowly, you had pulled Grimmjow's face towards yours, placing your lips against his.

And for the rest of the night, you and Grimmjow tried your very best to keep down the noise.

By the next morning, Grimmjow was already screaming.

"Hurry the fuck up Jiro!"
"I'm driving as fast as I can!" Jiro yelled back. "I'm trying not to get pulled over."
"Pulled over? By what!?" Grimmjow continued on.
"By the police..."
"Just ignore them!" Grimmjow said in frustration. "I do!"
"... And it's a mystery how you're not in jail right now."

"Mimi- chan, wake up." The innocent voice of Yachiru woke you up. "Mimi- chan, Ken- chan says wake up."

You only grumbled in return as you turned away from Yachiru to sleep some more.

"Wake up brat!" Zaraki's voice boomed.
"Ahh!" You jumped, going into a sitting position.
"It's time to go." Zaraki explained as he walked out of the room.
"Already?" You asked surprised.
"Yeah, Ken- chan wants to go now before gramps gets mad at us." Yachiru answered.
"Oh." You replied. "Where's Grimmjow?" You asked, as you noticed he wasn't in his futon or beside you.
"Jow jow- chan left this morning."
"Oh..."

Purposely, you moved slowly during the whole morning, trying to buy time, maybe Grimmjow would come back before you leave. After last night, he wouldn't just leave, right?

"Hurry up brat! We're leaving now!" Zaraki yelled in frustration.
"Coming!" You answered back, but you still barely moved a muscle.

You moved slowly once more as you gathered up all your clothes, and packed them in bags to bring back to Soul Society. You had thought of leaving them in the world of the living. But even you were unsure if you were allowed to return. Vacations don't happen often in Soul Society, so who knew the next time you would return.

"Bye Grimm." You said softly as you petted the grown cat once more. Grimm would have to stay with Grimmjow because he didn't belong in Soul Society, they liked each other's company anyways.

You had headed downstairs to the underground basement, where Urahara had readied a Senkaimon for you to all return to Soul Society.

Once more, Grimmjow was racing back to the Urahara Shop now, the ring in his hand. He had to do it before you leave, he had to tell you before you leave.

Grimmjow ran into the house as soon as Jiro stopped the car, ran towards the underground basement where all the noise was coming from... but then stopped at the sight.

The Senkaimon was disappearing.

"Where... is she?" Grimmjow asked slowly, he, actually choking on his own words.

Urahara and Tessai slowly turned around as the gigai's were left behind, leaning against the rock.

"Grimmjow- san." Urahara answered sincerly, a feeling of sadness washing over him. "I'm sorry, they're gone."
"But they're coming bac-" Grimmjow tried to ask.
"I'm sorry." Urahara said once more, his voice filled with remorse for Grimmjow.

Grimmjow squeezed the small velvet box in his hand as rage filled him.

You were gone, and who knows if you would ever come back.

And he felt like his plans were for nothing. He had gotten you back, proved that he loved you, proved that he was comitted to you. Did all that so that he in the end... he could marry you.

At that moment, Urahara and Tessai heard the one thing they would never forget. The sound of the man of destruction...

Crying.

End.
