The present news Grimmjow had just been given, set him off. He had run out of the shop without another wasted second.

He knew exactly where you were, which grocery store you always went too. But his anger was getting the better of him, his reiatsu was rising quickly to the point he could possibly just break his gigai off.

I hate that damn woman...

Was the last thing Grimmjow thought as the grocery store was nearing.

"Oh no it's raining Mimi- chan!" Yachiru announced as you both left the grocery store. You held a hand out, as if testing the heaviness of the rain.
"It's not that bad, it's still a bit light." You answered with a smile. "But we'll have to make it fast just in case it begins to rain any harder."

It was beginning to rain, Grimmjow hated the rain, even if it was light rain.

Reaching the grocery store, Grimmjow raced inside. He went peeked into each aisle trying to find you as soon as possible.

"Did a damn kid with pink hair come in here!?" Grimmjow suddenly asked a store clerk with an angered and worried tone. The store clerk, who was slightly scared of Grimmjow's presence, stuttered his answer.
"Sh- she was h- here earlier. But she left w- with a woman not 10 m- minutes a-ago."
"Fuck." Grimmjow said under his breath as he ran out of the grocery store once more. How was it possible that he had missed you walking back to the Urahara Shop?

"Captain, do you think it was wise to tell that espada about Kagami's situation?" Yumichika asked with crossed arms, him and Ikkaku still not fully agreeing to what their captain had told Grimmjow.
"What the fuck does it matter if it was wise or not?" Zaraki asked with an irritated tone. "It was his kid too anyways." Zaraki answered, knowing the feeling of having a child to call your own, or at least his 'Lieutenant'.

The news obviously bothered Grimmjow, just as much as it has hurt you, even Zaraki could see that. At night he could hear you crying, but he didn't mind. If it was silent, then he would worry. But no one, not even Yachiru could even dry your tears. It was the whole reason for this vacation in the world of the living. Zaraki fought hard to get you time off, away from your duties. And even though he rather be anywhere else then in Karakura Town, he had made the decision that maybe you do need Grimmjow after all.

Grimmjow had decided to cut through the park, it was a shorter way to get back to the Urahara Shop, and Grimmjow wanted to talk to you before you got back. To his great surprise, he had easily found you. With that... Grr.

"Nice running into you Ichi." You said with a smile.
"Do you have to call me that?" Ichigo asked with a sheepish smile, embarrassed that a grown woman was calling him a child's nickname.
"That's what Yachiru calls you." You said with a smile. "I think it's cute. Yachiru always comes up with the cutest nicknames."
"Uhh..." Ichigo answered as he began to think of all the other nicknames Yachiru had given to others which didn't sound very 'cute' at all.

"Look Mimi- chan! It's Jow- Jow- chan!" Yachiru called out, pointing behind you.
"Who the hell is Jow- Jow- chan?" You asked with an arched eyebrow, trying not to laugh. Jow- Jow- chan had to be the most ridiculous nickname you had ever heard, and felt sorry for whoever had received the nickname.

Slowly, you turned around to see Grimmjow running towards you, his expression angry as always. If he had heard the nickname, you wouldn't blame him for being mad.

"Ichi, can you bring Yachiru and the groceries home for me?" You asked you turned to Ichigo with a smile.
"Uhh, you sure? I mean Grimmjow looks pretty mad." Ichigo warned you.
"I'll be alright." You answered with a smile as you handed the groceries to Ichigo.

Ichigo had then left, groceries in hand and Yachiru sitting on his shoulder.

"Hey Ichi. Do you think Mimi- chan wants us to leave so she can kiss Jow- Jow- chan?" Yachiru asked Ichigo, as they walked further away from you.
"Uhh, I don't really think 'Jow- Jow- chan' is a very appropriate name for Grimmjow." Ichigo as he tried not to laugh.

Ichigo's and Yachiru's figures began to fade into the distant, and now you could only hear the rain drops and Grimmjow's tired panting.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Grimmjow growled as he faced you with an angered expression. However, he sounded surprisingly calm.
"Tell you what?"
"That you were pregnant." Grimmjow yelled in annoyance. He had no patience for this shit anymore. Ever since receiving the news of your miscarriage, Grimmjow had actually thought that it was good that you left. Good that he had hurt you. Good that he made you cry. To him, you deserved it. He would have loved a little Grimmjow running around, causing destruction together.

"Does it really matter now?" You asked bitterly, not even caring who had told him. "It's not like I can get it back."
"That fcukin child was mine too!"
"Is that all that matters to you!? That the child was 'yours'?"
"Yes it does matter! That child was mine, and you never fucking told me!' Grimmjow yelled in annoyance. Yes, for that moment Grimmjow truly believed you deserved to get hurt, that you deserved to cry. Cause at that moment, a part of his pride was broken. A child he could claim as his own, no longer existed. And he knew nothing of it.

"You didn't deserve to know shit!" You yelled back, trying to hold back your tears. You weren't going to be portrayed as weak, especially not in front of Grimmjow.
"Fuck you!" Grimmjow yelled back in frustration. "I had every fcukin' right to know!"

"No you didn't! You don't deserve anything!" You screamed back in frustration, and then your body slowly calming down. "I was always the last thing on your mind, I came second place to everything that came your way. To woman, to booze, to everything. You having a child would have made no difference. So no, you didn't deserve to know then, and you don't deserve it now."

Silence followed after, Grimmjow had nothing else to say. There wasn't anymore he could say. Cause maybe you were right, he didn't deserve it, any of it.

"Tch." Grimmjow replied as he grabbed a hold of your twist. "Let's go." Grimmjow finished, leading you back to the Urahara Shop.

The walk back was slow, the rain slightly getting harder.

During the walk, Grimmjow could feel you trying pull your wrist out of his grasp. Getting tired of your stubborn actions, he let go of you. But after a few minutes, he felt you gently grasp his hand. He didn't bother to look, he didn't want to see you crying, not again. So he stared straight ahead, walking with you in that hatful silence.

No words were exchanged between the 2 as they walked back. Grimmjow's thoughts began to wonder as he began to curse at himself for his previous thoughts. You didn't deserve to get hurt, or to cry. All this time, Grimmjow hated you for leaving him without a word, for leaving him alone. Yet, Grimmjow couldn't compare to the feeling of being alone and losing a child. At that moment, Grimmjow wanted to do nothing but apologize, to beg for you back. But of course, his pride wouldn't allow it.

Yes, the walk back was slow, and the rain slightly getting heavier. There was silence between them both, as the entire time their hands were entertwined with each others. For neither one wanted to apologize or forgive.

End.
