Chapter 2

*Next day*

I entered the gate when I saw Chanyeol with his friends playing basketball in the court, "hey Lily good morning!" Chanyeol shouted across the playground waving his hand, everyone looked at me and some girls whispered to each other sending me odd glares, oh god so embarrassing. I nodded and mouthed good morning and fast walked to class.

As I entered the class I remembered I didn't do my math homework, Taehyung was already there going through his phone. I sat down and took the time table out, great we have math first period and Mr.Lee is very strict, so I took my math books out and started doing the problems.

"Aish this is so hard" I mumbled to myself, I was in the last question but it was too hard, "want some help?" Taehyung asked, I looked at him in surprise and nodded slowly, "here, let me see" he said, "ah this is easy, it's like this" he said and taught me how to do it.

He explained very well but something just broke my attention..the way he was focused, his eyes shining, the way he licks his lips, I just couldn't help but stare, "do you understand now" he asked, "hmm yes I think I can do it now" I said giving him a smile.

"That's good" he said and ruffled my hair. Something was odd about him today, he was quite friendly and smiled a lot unlike yesterday.

The math period finished, Taehyung was always making me laugh with his jokes. The English teacher was absent so me and Taehyung kept on talking about this and that, "you have a beautiful laugh" Taehyung said which made me blush out of the blue, "thank you" I mumbled.

I looked back and saw Chanyeol looking at Taehyung weirdly, it was like he was angry or something but he quickly smiled as he saw me looking at him. As the science period started the teacher said we had to do a project so she gave us questions to do while she selects who pairs with who.

After the teacher left she kept the paper on the teachers table so everyone could see their partner. I got up and walked to the teachers table and look at the paper, I was paired with Taehyung. I walked back to my seat, "we have to do the project together" I said to Taehyung, "oh okay let's do it together" he said.

After school finished I met Taehyung by the gate, "so where are we going to do the project, my house or yours?" I asked, "let's go to my house, is it okay with you?" he asked, "yeah no prob" I said and walk with him. We came to an apartment as he opened the door.

It was quite neat inside and big too, "where are your parents?" I asked out of curiosity, "I don't have parents" he said bluntly, "what do you mean you don't have parents? Who raised you then?" I asked confused, Taehyung sighed, "can we just get into the project" he said completely annoyed, "I'm sorry, I wasn't meaning to annoy you" I said feeling bad, "no it's okay" he mumbled shaking his head.

"Follow me" Taehyung said and went into a bedroom as I followed him behind, I took off my school bag and kept it on the floor. "Lily, can you take that laptop" Taehyung said pointing to a laptop on the small table, so I took the laptop. "okay so now you find the information while I will do the easy part" he said.

"what's the easy part?" I asked and Taehyung went to the bed, laid down, crossed his arms and closed his eyes, "yah! We are supposed to do this together" I said loud, "can you be quiet I'm try to sleep here" he said opening one eye, "aish this kid" I mumbled to myself.

I turned from him to take the laptop but was pulled by a hand, "then why don't you also just sleep" Taehyung said and pulled me into him, stumbled without balance and landed on his chest.

I couldn't take my eyes of Taehyung, he was just too mesmerizing, Taehyung looked into my eyes and glanced at my lips, but I felt odd, something was happening in me..my heart, it was pounding fast, I have never felt like this before, it was a totally new feeling but I liked it.

But then as I was starring into his eyes I saw a gliche, his eyes turned silver for a quick second but disappeared quickly, I got up quickly realizing that I was still laying on top of him.

"I-I'm sorry" I muttered, "no, um..it's okay, it's my fault, sorry for pulling you" he said and I nodded, "but Taehyung.." I said, "why? Is there something wrong" he asked looking my way, "no it's just that your eyes..it's like I saw them turn silver for a second" I said pointing to his eyes.

"Huh? Is something wrong with your eye sight?" Taehyung said laughing a bit, I laughed too, "yeah, I think I'm going a little nut loose" I said laughing, "let's start on the project" Taehyung said, so we started finding information and to do the project, 'How stupid am I, how can a person change his eye color, ah I think I'm really going nuts, those kinds of things only happen in horror movies' I thought to myself and focused on the project.

Taehyung's P.O.V

We were half way done through the project now, "Lily, I'll go to the bathroom and come" I told Lily, "oh okay" she said while cutting out pictures.

I got up and walked to the bathroom, I went in and closed the door behind me, I went to the sink and washed my face and looked at my reflection through the mirror, 'what is happening to me? why is my heart pounding so much after Lily fell on me? she saw my eye color change, but why did me eye color change at that time?

Why do I feel this way when I'm with her? Have I fallen I love with her, what is this feeling? No..no no I can't love her, she's human, a vampire cannot fall in love with a human..right?.
