Chapter 5

Taehyung's P.O.V

Today went well, at first it was kinda awkward between me and lily after what happened yesterday night but I guess that awkwardness just faded away. We were in the last period, I looked at lily who was busily doing her math problems, the math teacher was absent but he had sent us some questions to do, I smiled and kept doing my work.

"Taehyung, could you tell me how to do this?" lily asked, I took her book and saw that she had trouble doing the new chapter.

"lily, do you want to stay after school? I could teach you this chapter" I said since math was very easy for me, simply because I'm a vampire.

"yes, that would be a big help, actually this chapter is quite hard for me" she said, flipping through the pages and the bell rang, everyone got up and packed their bags to leave but me and lily stayed, "okay so this is done like this" I said writing down the math problem, but then we were interrupted.

Lily's P.O.V

Taehyung wrote down the problem and was about to explain when Chanyeol came, "hey umm lily do you wanna hang out?" he asked, "oh um, sorry Chanyeol I can't now, I have some lessons to do" I said looking at Taehyung and back to Chanyeol.

"please lily, you can catch up with lessons later, you promised me" he said with pleading eyes, I sighed, I did promise him and a promise should never be broken, at least I hate breaking promises. "ahhh fine okay" I said, "yay! Thank you" he cheered.

"wait what about the lesson?" Taehyung asked, "sorry, looks like I'll have to do it another time" I said getting up, "bye Taehyung" I said and left with Chanyeol.

Taehyung's P.O.V

I watched as lily and chanyeol walk away. Chanyeol who looked at me and smirked as they went out of the class room. I sighed as I got my bag, why does lily let others control her like that she's just too innocent.

I packed my bag and went home since there is no use of staying at school, maybe I should visit home for a bit.

Lily's P.O.V

I hope Taehyung isn't angry with me. Me and Chanyeol were walking somewhere, I still have no idea where we are going, "chanyeol, where are we going?" I asked, "you'll see" he said as I just nodded and followed him.

After some walking and turning left and right we came across a small alley and then we came to a small river, it was beautiful, the river was flowing with pure water. "do you like it?" he asked and I nodded, "here come and sit down" he said taking my wrist and sitting on the grass.

"how did you find this place?" I asked looking around the nature, "ah, one day I got really angry with my family so I ran out of the house and without even knowing I ended up here" he said plucking a piece of grass, "wow, it's really beautiful and relaxing here" I said dipping my fingers into the cold water, "yeah, I often come here when I'm bored or have a lot of things in my mind" he said smiling.

"why? You can talk about your problems with your family right?" I asked, "well, I used to talk with my elder brother when I had a problem, but now since he' in university, he only comes home on Sundays" he said.

"well what about your parents then?" I asked out of curiosity, "well, they are kinda too busy with business life, got no time for me" he said sadly. "guess we're on the same boat" I said throwing a rock in the river, "why?" he asked.

"same, my dad doesn't really care about me now" I said, "what about your eomma?" he asked, I felt sad suddenly, "she passed away two years ago" I said throwing another rock.

Chanyeol's P.O.V

"she passed away two years ago" lily said throwing another rock to the river, I felt sorry for her, it must be sad to lose someone you love, "oh, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked" I said regretting for asking, "nah, it's okay" she said flashing a smile, but I knew that smile was fake, she must miss her eomma a lot.

We talked more on and on about our lives and past, but my phone rang, I looked at the caller ID and saw it was from mum, "hello eomma?" I said while lily looked at the river, "now? yeah okay" I said and ended the call.

"umm Y/N, I'm sorry but can we go now? my mum wants me home, guess we will be having guests and a boring dinner or something" I said with a bored face, "yep. It's okay, it's getting late anyways" she said getting up.

We walked to the bus stand and waited till the bus came, since we go on different buses."Lily can we hang out tomorrow too if it's okay with you?" I asked, "hmm yeah okay" she said nodding with a smile.

"oh I think I can go in this bus" she said as the bus stopped and people got in, "okay, umm bye, be safe" I said, "okay, and thanks chanyeol...it was very relaxing talking to you, you're such a good friend" she said and waved getting into the bus. I watched as she sat down and the bus drove away. 'lily, do you just see me as a friend?..'
