"it's about your mother...she needs health care right away, she's near to death" appa said, "WHAT?!" I yelled as my hands become more trembling, I quickly opened the door heading out, the phone still in my ear, "I'm coming now, appa I want see eomma" I said as tears started trickling down, by now the sound of the TV was turned down as 8 worried faces starred at me. "no Lily-ah we are going now" he said, "wait, where are you going?" I asked, "we have to take her to Australia, she has to be treated there" appa said, "ani appa, wait for me I'm coming too" I said but more like screamed, "I'm sorry Lily-ah but we are already on our way to the airport and your mother doesn't want you to worry about her, she's saying you should stay and continue your studies" appa breathes, I could hear my mothers weak voice at the background, "appa...when will you be back?" I asked as more and more tears were running down my cheeks, "lily-ah we can't exactly say, it may be a month, a year or maybe two" he said, "Lily-ah be strong okay? Don't worry nothing will happen to eomma, we'll be back, take care my daughter" he said as the phone call ended.

My head was starting spinning as my heart beat was uneasy, I felt like the world was crashing down, as soon as the call ended I felt my legs weak as I was about to fall but two arms caught me. "Lily..Lily are you okay, whats going on?" Taehyung as with worry flowing in his eyes, "ah huh?" I asked my concentration at zero in this world, "Lily, whats wrong" Eunji asked shaking me, "eomma..." I whispered. Taehyung sat me down on the sofa, "what happened? Whats wrong with eomma?" Taehyung asked kneeling down near me as my hand in his, Eunji rubbing my back looking at me worried, "eomma, she's very sick, at this point she could be near to death, Eunji-ahhh" I sobbed hugging Eunji. "shhh, nothing will happen to her, she's a strong woman" Eunji said stroking my head, "Lily don't worry, nothing bad will happen" Jungkook said hugging me, as all eight of the started hugging me as we all ended up in a group hug.

"Taehyung-ah, I don't know what to do..I'm scared" I said another tear dripping down, "no.. nothing will happen, they'll be back, and you'll be happy again, don't think negatively" he said giving a gentle kiss on my head. "I hope so.." I said hugging him. "guys, I think it's better if me and lily go home now, I'll take care of her" she said helping me stand up. we said goodbye to the others as me and Eunji headed out, as we were about to go in to our apartment Taehyung called me, "lily. Wait a bit" he said, "Eunji, can I talk to Lily for a minute, I'll send her in" he asked Eunji, "hmm okay" she nodded while heading in. "lily, look at me" Taehyung said holding my cheeks, "be strong okay? I'm always here for you, no matter what, don't be scared 'cause I'm always here by your side" he hugged me tight, I felt more secure in his arms. "Taehyung, she'll be fine right? Eomma means the world to me" I said, "she'll be fine, of course she'll be fine, after all she's my mother-in-law" Taehyung said making me blush. "hmm okay, now go in and get some rest, let's talk tomorrow" he said giving me a small kiss. I went in and went straight to my room, as I closed the door, my eyes landed on the photo of me and eomma, I ran into bed, covering up my shaking body with the sheets, 'eomma, please come back soon..'

*3 years later*

"I can't believe we're graduating in two months" Eunji said as we sat down in class, "I know right" Jimin who was with Jungkook behind our table butted in, "I wasn't talking to you pabo" Eunji said making Jimin stick his tongue at her. "aren't you happy about our graduation?" Eunji asked, "I am but I wish eomma and appa were here too" I said. "it's been three years right?" Eunji asked, I mumbled a yes not so interested in the conversation. It's been three whole years since my parents went to Australia, appa did visit me two times a year but eomma never came. We tend to skype when she could, having a disease like cancer isn't that easy. But however I've found a way to stay strong and my medicine is Taehyung, now that we've been dating for three years and I don't regret anything, every moment I spend with him is like a gift. Not just Taehyung, but the others have also made me feel a lot better, but still neither of our parents know about our relationship. It's not like we don't want to tell them but we agreed to wait till my parents are back in Korea and who knows when that'll happen.

Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi oppa graduated last year and now they're doing jobs except Yoongi oppa, he's in England. He had to go there just after he graduated because he wanted to do his final one-year course in Economics, I miss him a lot but we do communicate on a daily basis however time zones can be a tiny bit of a problem. They good news is he'll be back just in time for my graduation which I'm really thankful of, but that pabo wouldn't tell any of us exactly when he will be coming, he says he wants to 'surprise' us.

The four hour lecture ended as Jimin, Jungkook me and Eunji walked out of the class. "anyone up for a snack?" Jimin asked, "I'm in" Eunji and kookie said at the same time. "what about you? Aren't you coming lily?" Jimin asked, "oh mianhe Jimin-ah, I have to meet up with Tae, maybe next time" I said with a smile, Jimin nodded smiling back. I waved to three of them as I went on my way to meet Taehyung at the park.

I arrived at the park as I entered the gate, walking on the familiar cement stoned pathway, as I came to our usual place I saw Taehyung already there reading a book, he looked like a nerd who loves his books. I slowly tip toed and went behind him quickly closing his eyes with my hands, "guess who?" I giggled, "hmm, is it my one and only pabo lily?" he said smiling, "yah! When did I become a pabo" I said acting stubborn, "teehee I was kidding" he said taking my hand and sitting me down next to him. "it's our graduation in two months" I said leaning my head on his shoulder, "yeah, can you believe it's been three years since we've met?" he said, "hmm I hope we can be like this forever" I said looking at our intertwined hands. "don't worry we will be, we'll be together, to be with our children the grandchildren and-" but just then my phone rang, I looked at Taehyung who nodded to answer my call. I took my phone out of my pocket as the caller ID indicated it was appa, I whispered Tae to be quiet as I answered the call, "nae appa?" I said into the phone, "lily-ah how have you been?" he asked, "ahh I'm fine appa" I said "daughter, we have good news" he said, I looked at Taehyung who was giving me a confused look, "nae appa, what is it?" I asked quite excited myself, "we're coming back in four days, me and eomma.."
