I took a few steps back, pressing myself to my bedroom wall as he watched me. He chuckled as my body started to tremble. He grabbed at his shirt and threw it off over his shoulders, revealing his pale, bare chest.
It was a quick shift. His bones moved around under his skin and he crouched down for a few moments as he gripped the edge of my bed. He grunted angrily and let out a roar, and I watched his body slowly shift. Usually it intrigued me to watch his body start to grow and his muscles develop, but now I was engulfed in pure fear of what might happen to me.
He stood up, flashing a grin. "That's better."
"A-Andy— er, I mean Andrew." I said slowly, catching myself in the middle of the sentence. Andrew chuckled at my fear and stepped closer. His large body towered over me and he looked down at me, tilting his head slightly. He licked his lips.
"I can smell your fear." He said roughly.
"I— I'm not afraid." What a lie.
"I know when you're lying darling." He growled in my ear, taking a piece of hair and wrapping it around his long finger. Andrew snapped his jaw shut near my ear, and I shuddered, earning a pure chuckle. "I'm surprised. I always thought you were smart, but I guess I was wrong."
"I am smart." I whispered, however despite how much I tried, I couldn't say it with full confidence. Andrew hovered over me, playing with my hair as he studied me.
"So why exactly did you want to talk to me? Was it my charming personality?" The sarcasm was so obvious. He wasn't trying to hide it at all as he spoke. I took a moment to think— why did I want to talk to him exactly? I wanted to see him but I wasn't exactly sure what my game plan was in this situation.
"I— I'm not sure." I admitted.
He laughed. "Stupid human."
"Hey, you were a human before you were changed so shut up!" I snapped at him, not realizing how much of a mistake that was. He grabbed me by the neck and pressed me hard against the wall. Andrews grip tightened even more and I found it very hard to breathe now.
Andrew leaned in. "I was never human. Your precious little Andy was." Andrew sneered in my face, his hot breath beating against me. I scrunched my nose and tried to wriggle out of his grip but I failed. "I was the monster in his head that was released when he was changed."
"I'm more fun." He added, laughing.
"This isn't much fun." I coughed.
"It is for me." Andrew whispered. I grabbed his wrists and tried to pry him off of me, and with a roll of the eyes, he dropped me to the floor. I dropped down onto my knees coughing fiercely as I tried to regain my breath.
Andrew spit on the floor. "Pfft. Weak."
"Why are you such an asshole?" I asked him, still trying to even out my breathing. Andrew was a whole other side of Andy. He truly was a cold hearted asshole, and Andy was actually a very sweet guy. Andrew, however, was nowhere near similar to Andy.
He leaned down, resting his elbows on his knees as he squatted in front of me. Andrew's black eyes studied me carefully as he tilted his head to the side a bit, pursing his lips. He chuckled lightly and shook his head. "You don't get it, do you? I'm what Andy should be."
