Andy didn't show up to first hour the next day. Mr. Smith was bugging me for our project, however I didn't have it. I lied and said Andy had it, but he fell ill last night and didn't come to school.

That dropped my grade down immediately and I felt my heart skip a beat. I wasn't one to have poor grades, and even though I knew Andy would get it back up, the feeling of having something less than an "A" really didn't settle well.

I went through the day hoping Andy would show up to one of the classes, however he was still a ghost. I sat out of swim once again and sent a text to Andy, however it went immediately green which indicated his phone was dead or turned off. I let out a sigh; I hope he was okay. Who knows where he must've woke up this morning thanks to Andrew. For all I knew he could've woken up in the sewers or at the scene of a crime.

What if he was arrested? What if Andrew went on a rampage and the cops took him in this morning? My heart was starting to pick up the pace, and as soon as I realized it, I took in some deep breaths. Calm down, Snow. He's fine.

School went by very slowly and the day seemed to drag on. All day long my mind was set on Andy, and my worries kept growing. Alex tried to pull me out of my thoughts from time to time, and she even offered to take me out to dinner tonight, however I turned her down.

I had a shift at the coffee house tonight anyways, but even if I didn't I would spend my night looking for Andy. The last bell rang and I was already out the door racing to my car. Alex chased after me as soon as I got into the car.

"Snow— wait!" She yelled, stopping at my car door. I rolled down my window and asked what was up, and she held up a finger as she tried catching her breath. "Why are you so antsy today? What's up, babe?"

"Nothing! Nothing, I swear." I promised.

"You're acting strange." She said hesitantly.

"Alex, I swear I'm okay."

"Okay, I'm just making sure." Alex said lightly as she took a step back from the car. She had such a worried look in her eyes. I reassured her once more that I was fine, and that seemed to force her to finally relax. I told her I'd call her later tonight after my shift and then sped off out of the lot.

I was going well over fifty in a thirty-five zone, but that was the least of my worries. The usual twenty minute drive to my house was cut short to a nice twelve, and I pulled into my driveway a bit too quick. Andy's car was nowhere to be seen, increasing my worries. I stopped the car abruptly and swung open the door, quickly making my way to the front door.

"Andy?" I called out as I stepped inside, shutting the door. Samson barked up a storm in his cage, however I ignored that as I searched the kitchen. I ran downstairs, calling his name again but found myself alone.

"Where are you?" I asked half aloud and half to myself as I walked upstairs. I headed down the hall and opened my bedroom door. I felt as the huge weight on my shoulders finally lifted and I flung myself at him as I cried, "Oh Andy!"

He sat at the edge of the bed with his head hung low however as soon as he heard me his head snapped up. I wrapped my arms around him tightly and felt his arms enclose me as he stood up. Andy held me tightly against his chest as he buried his face in my hair.
