The front door swung open. Andrew's heavy combat boots sounded against the hard wood floor and he shut the door quietly behind him. The lights were still on and the door was starting to fall off its hinges, however he paid no attention to that whatsoever.
He simply turned off the lights and carried me upstairs. My mind was racing with a million different questions and possibilities as to how this night would end.
Andrew flicked on the hallway light and crept down the hall, trying to be as quiet as possible. We were about to round the corner when a door swung open. A sleepy CC emerged from the shadows, rubbing his eyes as he let out a long yawn. "Hey Andy what are you—?"
When his eyes opened that's when he stopped talking. His eyes grew into more of a fiery red as he growled, "Andrew, what the hell are—"
"Quiet Christian." Andrew snarled.
"That's not my name." CC snapped.
"Stand down." Andrew ordered. CC clenched his fists and growled angrily but slowly backed away. He gave me a worried glance before shutting the door. I swallowed hard as we entered his room, closing the door behind him. Andrew flipped on the lights and moved towards his bed.
He set me down on the bed and immediately I drove my left food straight into his jaw. Andrew stumbled back a bit and put his hand against his jaw, growling under his breath. I quickly pushed myself father back on the bed as I watched him crack his neck.
"Alright, I deserved that." He muttered.
Andrew then looked at me, studying me carefully. My heart was racing and I thought it was going to burst out of my chest. I saw his lips curve up into a smile and he chuckled as he shook his head. "Am I really that scary?"
I stayed silent, my eyes glued to him. He walked around the bed, dragging his claws along the blanket. Andrew sat down a few feet away from me, keeping his back to me. He let out a long sigh and stayed silent.
Finally, I broke it. "Why?"
"And she speaks!" Andrew taunted.
"Why— Why didn't you kill me?"
Andrew let out a long sigh before turning to face me. His lips formed a fine, thin line. Andrews jaw was tight and he took a deep breath before he finally said, "I don't know."
"You don't know?" I asked.
Andrew shook his head.
I scoffed. "You should've."
He did something I'd never expect him to do. Andrew pressed me against the wall with his hand around my neck, his ink black eyes staring straight into my soul. His voice dropped low. "Don't you ever say that."
Andrew let go slowly, composing himself as he took in deep breaths. I stared at him in shock as I tried to figure him out. Did he he actually care about me? "You— You care about me."
Andrew scoffed. "That's ridiculous."
A smirk pulled at my lips. "You care."
Andrew snapped his eyes back at me as he shook his head no. "You should be thanking me that I didn't let them tear you apart, or better yet tear you apart myself."
