Unfortunately, Stiles didn't get the text in time and Erica had already found him and took him to the pools. That's where he saw Derek, strangely enough holding a basketball. "Derek," he mumbled as Erica let him go and stood next to her Alpha. "Stiles," Derek stated. "What did you see at the mechanics garage?" Being the sarcastic little shit that he is, Stiles' answer was just that. "Several alarming EPA violations I'm seriously considering reporting." Derek and Erica chuckled to each other and then Derek dug his claws in the basketball. "Holy God," Stiles mumbled and Derek threw the ball on the floor. "Let's try that again," the Alpha said.

Scott was trying to get Boyd off the field, but he wouldn't budge and ran when the whistle was blown. Scott ran after him and got the ball, which was thrown in the goal not much later. We all got up cheering, but then someone from the other team knocked him over and I'm pretty sure I heard bones breaking. I immediately ran to Scott, not even looking at Allison or Gerard, and kneeled next to him. "I'm fine. I'm healing," Scott grunted. "You fucking broke something, Scott. You can't magically get up and continue playing." But Scott ignored what I just said and instead, he asked about the book. "It's not in his office," I said and looked at Allison. "It's got to be at the house," Allison then said. "Scott, your leg," Allison said. "He should be fine, but it's going to be tricky explaining that to everyone here," I mumbled, still helping him up.

"Don't move," the coach ordered, but we already pulled him up and I could hear the bone being pushed in its original spot. "It's okay. I'm fine," he chuckled. I gave a nervous look to Allison and then looked to my right to see the faces of the rest of the team, coach and Melissa, Scott's mum. "I could've sworn I literally heard bone breaking from where I sat," Melissa said. "Heard it? I felt it," coach said. Could agree more, coach. "Seriously, guys, I am fine." From the corner of my eyes I saw Gerard giving strange looks and Allison noticed. She let go of Scott and walked to her grandfather. "We should go," she mumbled and motioned for me to come with her. "Hold on," Gerard said, "I want to ask him one more thing."

Unfortunately, Gerard asked Scott to join him for dinner, at the Argents. We sat in the car, Scott in the passanger's seat and Allison and I in the back. I was sitting on the right and Allison in the middle, with her head on my shoulder and her legs over my left one. I kissed her temple and I could feel Gerard's eyes on us through the rear-view mirror. "I love you," I whispered as quiet as I could so only Allison, and probably Scott as well, would hear it. She looked up and smiled before she kissed me softly.
