That certainly was not an answer I was expecting, it makes me question if it's true at all but I don't say anything, I just study his face, his eyes. He continues drawing stars into the dirt but then just destroys the lines with his boot.

"I really should get going" I say, after a cough and standing up to my feet. It's late and I should be home, plus I need to be up for work tomorrow and so does he. That is, if he goes at all, he may not.

Harry sighs before saying "I might as well walk with you, not that I have any other option anyway" his hands dip into his jean pockets before strolling along with me on the way to my house. Hopefully my mom won't be too angry when I get there. I really do hope so, we have a really amazing relationship, or should I say, had. Or maybe we still do, just a few (or a lot of) arguments doesn't mean anything, right? I just want to work this out and stop feeling angry and upset. I really do.

Before I know it, we're standing in front of my house. A get a weird nervous feeling all of a sudden, and I'm not sure if it's him or having to walk through that door after storming off. I'm just about to say goodbye before he cuts me off and kisses me totally by surprise. His tall figure slowly pushes me into the door and I open my mouth, letting my tongue explore his mouth. He licks my upper lip and then bites my lower one, his hands moves from my waist down to my hip and pulls me into him. My palms move up over his chest and, as much as I want to continue even though we're on the street and it's really inappropriate, I Iightly push him off me and end it with a small "See ya".

I stay put and watch him walk away before entering my house. I see that the back of his white shirt is a little damp, my jacket is too, so is my hair. Maybe I should shower... I think it's a little too late for that.  As quiet as possible I open the door, trying not to make any noise with my keys but despite my efforts I drop them on the laminate floor making, what it seemed like, the loudest sound ever. I switch the lights on in the pitch darkness and I notice that it's incredibly quiet. Maybe my mom is sleeping...

"Where have you been?" I guess not. I turn around and see my mother standing in front of me with her arms crossed and slightly tapping her foot. "Well?"

"Out" I walk right past her down the hall to my room, but she follows right behind me.

"Why on earth is your hair wet? Where have you been? Who is that boy?" she asks, I snap my head around to face her again. She saw him? I really hope she wasn't spying on us through the window, I will die of embarrassment.

"I've just been out with friends, he's nobody"  I keep my cool, if I get angry this will just lead to a huge fight.

"I've been worried sick, Lilah and you just walk in here like you don't care. You just storm off to hang out with some boy to do God knows what!" she shouts, throwing her hands in the air.

"I sent you a text about an hour ago and I'm home now. Look, I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry about what I said, I'm sorry about running off. I'm sorry but I can't deal with this double standard! You go off with Jim for God knows how long too! You don't care if I'm left here by myself, it seems like he's your first priority! You can't say you've been worried sick because you didn't know where I was but you never do anyway! Why? Because you're never around" I finish my rant and enter my room, slamming the door behind me. If I was going to end that in any way, it was going to be the teenager way. I hope I got my point across, she doesn't seem to be knocking on my door for a comeback.

*************

"Lilah" Harry breathes against my lips, his forhead leaning against mine as one of his hands grip the headboard and a light layer of sweat covers both our bodies as his hips meet mine through thrusts. "Look at me" he whispers. I open my eyes at look up at him through my lashes. My hands move up to the back of his neck and I hear him curse under his breath.
