|| Chapter 11 || A Birthday Festival For The Twins

The castle training yard was made up of a large, grassy, field in which Amadahy's knights were allowed to practiced many different skills in. There were targets for archery, dummies for sword combat, and still plenty of room left over for knights to do hand-to-hand combat. At the moment, hand-to-hand was what every knight worked on due to orders they received.

One partner would hold a weapon of choice then attack the other, leaving them to find a way to fend for themselves with only themselves. Supervisors would watch on the sidelines, yelling different insults to 'toughen' them all up. 

Above the yard, Princess Sienna and Princess (Y/n) walked side by side, both their knights of honor following behind them like always. As they walked, Sienna gave her orders, her voice loud enough for everyone below to hear," I want everyone to also work on archery today! Make sure to practice up close and long shots!"

"Yes, your highness!" They all yelled back, not stopping their training. In fact, they worked harder so they could hopefully impress the stubborn Princess (not that they ever did).

"You're really working them today, Sienna," (Y/n) commented, watching each knight's moves whether they were attacking or defending.

"We must always be prepared in case of war," Sienna shrugged like it was nothing, looking to her knight of honor who stood directly behind her," go to each section leader and make sure they check weapon supplies today. I'll be looking over everything first thing tomorrow morning."

"Yes, your highness. I'll get right on that for you," Emilia smirked, quickly saluting before heading off to fulfill her order.

"Better safe than sorry, I guess," (Y/n) muttered, turning to face her older sister," Who would even go into war with us, though?"

"That's most likely what Hylians said. They weren't prepared for us to come and that lead to their down fall. We'll learn from their mistakes," (Y/n) frowned, looking back to the training yard which earned a concerned look from Liam. 

"SIENNA!" The red haired female turned her head, seeing their little sister running towards them, her eyes, stockily, narrowed. Her knight of honor, Vala Rose, was running after her, her eyes blank of emotion.

"Brooke? What's wrong?" Concerned, Sienna stepped forward towards Brook who grabbed her wrists, looking the taller Princess in the eyes.

"You seriously haven't planned any kind of celebration for your birthday?!"

Sienna blinked, shocked at the question," why would I? It isn't anything special-"

"-But it is! It's the day Ethan and you were born! Birthdays should always be celebrated!" Brook pouted, looking to (Y/n)," you must agree with me. Don't you think it's only right that Sienna and Ethan celebrate their birth?"

"It is an important day..." (Y/n) agreed.

Sienna shook her head, rubbing her temples and stepping back from her youngest sister," Brooke, I haven't the time for childish things like birthday parties. I'm very busy being the Commander of the army at the moment."

"Then we won't do a birthday party. We can do some kind of festival!" Brook suggested.

"That still doesn't change the fact that I'm busy. Besides, Ethan is most likely very busy too. He wouldn't-"

"-Let's ask him then, shall we? I bet big brother would love the idea!" Before Sienna could argue, Brook turned, running off," come on Vala Rose! We must ask my brother at once! (Y/n), you come too!"

"Brooke! Stop!" Sienna glared at her, chasing after the Princess and knight who followed. 

(Y/n) giggled, looking to Liam over her shoulder," looks like we're paying Ethan a little visit."
