The H.R.F. was a complete mess. Hylians ran about, spreading the news of what happened that day to anyone who would listen. The medical rooms were filled with people who flooded out the doors, trying to get in so they could ask those who were hurt in the fights just what happened. Everyone wanted answers but those were limited at the moment.

Meanwhile, Zelda walked around in circles, muttering things under her breath. Impa tried to calm her down, saying everything would be fine, however, those words fell upon deaf ears.

She couldn't think straight. Princess (Y/n) wanted them to help with the ceremony. She requested for the H.R.F.'s help in front of the whole Capital. Zelda never thought she'd know the resistant force. How long had she known? Did this mean her family members knew too? Zelda's heart raced at that idea,' they must now.'

There was a faint knock at the door in which broke Zelda's thoughts. Impa glanced at her for the okay to open it. When the younger female nodded, she opened the door, stepping aside to let Aryan enter before leaving herself so they could have privacy.

Zelda gasped when seeing him, running over and practically throwing herself into his arms while wasting no time at all to press her lips to his," Aryan! I was so worried! I hadn't heard whether you were okay or not! I... I thought some Amadhian might have hurt you!"

Zelda moved her hands all along his face, checking for any scratches or marks before Aryan shook his head, pulling her hands away," I'm fine. No Amadhian could ever hurt me, Zel. You know this."

"You're not invincible, Aryan. I worry about you every time you go out and something like this happens. I can't help it!"

Aryan sighed and placed a hand on Zelda's cheek, watching her lean into his touch," I understand. I'm alright, though. I got away before anyone could see me. I only stayed long enough to hear that Princess's words."

He hissed at the part about the other princess, however, Zelda didn't blame him. She pushed away so she could consider his eyes," this is all so stressful. Everyone's telling me different stories about what happened. I can't make a decision."

"Decision? On what?" Aryan raised an eyebrow.

"If we should accept Princess (Y/n)'s offer and help with the ceremony she's planning."

"How could you consider accepting?! Have you forgotten? She's an Amadhian herself!" Aryan pushed Zelda out of his arms, glaring at her.

She shook her head, stepping towards him again," I remember, but still, what if she's being sincere about actually wanting to help our kind? This could be something great for us Hylians if she isn't lying."

"And what about if she is? How would we even know? She could be tricking us. Her father or brother could have put her up to this, so we'd go to the Capital City only to be killed!" Aryan argued, stepping away from his girlfriend and turning his back to her.

"I understand, and it is a possibly. You must think for a moment, though, Aryan, please. Princess (Y/n) seems to care more about Hylians, you can't deny that. She's even friends with Link, if not more by now. I think..." Zelda cupped her hands over her heart, lowering her head," I think she really wants to help our kind. Doesn't it make sense?"

Aryan said nothing. He only stared ahead of himself, glaring at the wall.

"If I were an Amadhian princess and you were still Hylian, I'd risk everyone's disapproval to simple be with you. Wouldn't you do the same if it was the other way around? If you had the power, wouldn't you want to change the rules for us to be together?" Her heart almost broke thinking about it. Suddenly, she understood the pain (Y/n) and Link must go through simply to be friends.

"...I would..."

"Then you must understand a little. I'll need more time to think it over, however, I'm leaning towards accepting Princess (Y/n)'s offer. If I don't take it, who knows when Hylians will get another chance to be equal."

Aryan growled lowly, shaking his head," you could be killed going there. They could kill any of us Hylians. I wouldn't put it past that family."

"You're not the ruler here, Aryan, I am. As Princess of Fallen Hyrule, I make the choice I think is best for my people. I'll put my life before Hylians gladly. I'm making the bet that Princess (Y/n) feels the same both races-"

"-only one-"

"-For both. If you'll leave me, I have a decision to think about," Zelda's words were stern, probably the sternness she's used when talking with Aryan.

He gazed over his shoulder at her then sighed, leaving her alone in the room. The Hylian Princess watched him go, sighing herself.

She loved Aryan with all her heart, she really did. Ever since they met, he had been the man from her dreams, however, he could be so stubborn at times. The way Zelda saw it, if the two hoped on being married one day, she'd have to be sure Aryan would be a good enough king to Hylians. Right now, he still failed to see things in an open point of view. That was a dangerous trait for a ruler to have, just look at Adrian...
