Bob Marley, a renouned musician famous for his rebelious lyrics, reggae beats, and flowing dreads was an an inspiration to the Jamaican people. Bob was born in Nine Mile in Saint Ann's, Jamaica. Even though many people associate him as a weed icon, he is nothing of the sort. Marley, whose mom was back, and whose dad was white faced minor forms of discrimintion in his young life growing up in an indiverse community of people. Later, he moved from his small village into the melting pot if Jamaica, Trench Town, Kingston. After that, Bob grew up in the famous ghetto of Trench Town also known as the "Forgotten Land." However, he did not let the fact that he didn't own shoes or have dinner ever day or fresh water get in the way of what he loved most, music. Later, Bob inherited Rastafarianism, a religion from Jamaica that worships a god named "Jah." He often preached of its beliefs in his songs. Growing up in such a environment where people were often shot, and killed made him point his fingers at the corrupt government ruled my mafias who knew nothing of law. Angered, at how too many people were dying because of this, Marley poined his fingers at the govermnent, and fought against the system with passion. He brought the gift of reggae music and even a religion for the rest of the world to share in fighting against the people who worked to make the people's lives miserable. He knew that rebelling against mafias was an extremely risky act, but he refused to give up. One night, Bob Marley was ordered to be assasained by the government, and was unfortunately shot. The doctors claim that it was a miracle that he even survived the shot. No one who was shot died either. Bob, now extremely aware of the consequences of making his music, still never gave up still. Therefore, his music was simply an inspiration to the people of Trench town, and all of Jamaica and even all over the world. However, with all this fame, he never let any of this fame get into his head. He still continued to fight back and believed that he could cure people's hears by injecting love into their hearts. Away from his music life, he had several children, eleven in total. He was also married with a girl named Rita Marley, but dated many girls while in marriage. Getting a divorce was against his beliefs, but he dedicated his song "No Woman No Cry" to Rita after noticing that she was unhappy, which is one if his most famous songs. Other than music, he had other passions as well. He was an extremely talented soccer player who was good enough to be a professional. When Marley was only 36 years old, he was in extreme pain. He was rushed to emergency, and they found out that he had a deadly cancer usually inherited by coc asians. It was a skin cancer called Melonoma. He was told that he was three weeks to live. Devasted, he spent the rest of his lives with the ones he loved most. Even though, it has been a long time since Bob Marley passed, he still remains an inspiration to people all around the enire world, and his legend still lives with the people of Jamaica today.
