Adrien's P.O.V.

I spent the whole rest of the day in my room. I told father I wasn't feeling well, and that I only needed rest. He nodded his head and got back to work. All I got from Felix was a suspicious look and a smirk.

It's now 9:10 and my patrol starts at 9:15. Ladybug and I have noticed how both of us are extremely tired all the time from patrolling every night from 9:15 to 11:15. She suggested we alternate turns so each of us gets a little more rest so we'll be at our best for the battles. Even though I would really never get to see her unless there was an akuma, I agreed. Besides, now I have Marinette.

But I still like Ladybug.

I really need to figure this out. Whenever I'm with Marinette, I don't think of Ladybug. But whenever Marinette leaves, Ladybug comes to mind! Like come on, make up your mind, mind!

I roll my eyes and exit out of the LadyBlog. "Come on Plagg, time to patrol."

"I get extra cheese when we get back."

"And why is that?"

"Because your new buddy is a complete *sshole."

"Language, Plagg. But I can't say I don't agree. And he's not my buddy." Plagg rolls his eyes and shoves one more piece of Camembert into his little body then flies into my ring. "Claws out!"

The tight leather and black spandex coats my body like a second skin, a comfortable black mask appears over most of my face. My hair takes on a wild side and my senses heighten. I can suddenly see perfectly in the dark and I feel much more... cocky. I guess it comes with the 'Chat Noir' persona.

I smile and show my pearly white teeth. I have half a mind to go downstairs and have a little talk with Queen Elsa. Maybe I could pay him a visit eventually. I smirk and grab my baton from the clasp on my back, then extend it. I quickly open my window, and leap out into the night.

I hop from building to building, searching for any sign of trouble. After finding nothing at the obvious places, I take a detour to the lesser known places of Paris. I whistle and pounce from a building, onto a light post, and back to another building.

I sudden grow quiet and stop moving when I hear a faint voice. My breath catches in my throat and I quickly, but quietly, find my way to the home of the sound.

Just as I suspected.

I didn't know the girl, but she was in trouble.

I sigh and jump down from the rooftop. She was pinned up against a wall and a large man wearing all black was going through her purse. The young red head was whimpering and sobbing quietly.

I clear my throat and both the man and the girl look up. I give a bow to the man and he smiles to reveal his yellow teeth.

"And you're suppose to be what exactly, dressing up as a cat I see? Pathetic." He speaks in a thick English accent. Queen Elsa probably brought him here. I guess I could have a little fun.

"The name's Chat Noir, pleasure I'm sure. I see you're new here, I guess you haven't heard of me. I'll let you off this once, just give the lady back her belongings and get on your way." I speak clearly with a hint of humor.

"Oh little boy, you think you can stop me? You and your kitty cat costume? What are you going to do to me?" he says with a dry laugh.

"I hope you won't have to find out." I say more seriously. I extend my baton and glare at the man.

"I can't just simply back down, it'll only inflate your ego. And clearly you don't need any more of that." He says, is it me or is this dude getting a little angry?
