One Last Time (Hamilton Lams fanfic)

Chapter 6

>3rd POV<

Eliza ran down the hall Peggy and Angelica right behind her. She opened the café doors faster then she has ever before. She looked around seeing the group Alex and John hand and hand. Alex turned seeing her and her sisters face, she didn't realize they seemed mad.

Alex dropped John's hand his face pale.

Shit.

Alex stood quickly, John  looked up at him worriedly. The Schuyler sisters approached and he immediately booked it.

He ran as fast he could out of the café, he didn't really know were but he knew why. Alex thought Eliza was okay with what happened but apparently not. Her sisters looked ready to kill... He thought at least. He wasn't there long enough to read them that well.

"Good job Angie you scared him." Eliza said, she saw Angie roll her eyes.

"What's wrong with Alex? Did something happen?" John asked as if he was talking about a beer buddy. Looking at him with his broad shoulders green amber eyes and muscular you  would never know he is gayer then the leprechaun  at the end of a rainbow.

"No John, it's alright I just wanted to talk to Alex." Eliza said with a caring voice.

"Eliza, If you really like him Ill back off." John said looking down. Eliza's heart broke at John saying that. She thought about it, it would have been amazing to have Alex all to herself. But John would be broken.

"No no! You deserve him John." He smiled and we hugged then I remembered  what I was here for. I untangled myself from John's grasp and ran after Alexander, Angelica close behind

"ALEX!"Eliza screamed grabbing his arm and halting to a stop. 

"I-I don't know why your mad I'm sorry I won't be with John, Ill marry you, Ill do everything you need please, don't hurt me." Alex rambled and Eliza's heart was about broken, she couldn't believe he said that.

"Oh my gosh Alex i'm so sorry I didn't mean it that way I just have to warn you about something." Eliza said her hands in holding her face. She felt terrible.

"I needed to tell you to be careful who you tell about your relationship! John's father has a huge homophobia, It's disgusting. He would really hurt John if he found out, please Alexander, be careful." Eliza finished quickly, with wide eyes and a worried face.

"Don't worry Eliza, he's safe with me." Alex said reassuring her. 

>Alex POV<

I walked back to my dorm not really wanting to go back to the cafe  after running out like a coward.

I couldn't stop thinking about what Eliza had told me, was she just saying it to make me not want to date him and be with her or did she mean it?

Was he really safe with me?  

I unlocked the door to my dorm and trudged to my room. I plopped on my bed wanting to feel the touch of John's arms again. But was he even safe with me? I really liked John, his personality was perfect and his soft lips were even better. But what if he isn't safe...

I shook the thought away when I hear the door roughly open and close. I heard Laf, Herc, and John talking quite loudly. Then I heard a knock on my door. I closed my laptop and set it aside.

"Come, in!"I yelled picking up my phone.

"Hey... You ran out of the cafe and didn't come back so me, Laf, and Herc decided to come back to the dorm, is everything alright?" It was John, he sat next to me on my bed and I put my arm around him, this was moments I wish would happen forever. He was perfect.
