"Flight 2187, now boarding." I look up at the flight attendant announcing that my flight was finally boarding. I twist my boarding pass nervously as I stand, lugging my heavy blue suitcase with me. "Enjoy your flight." The attendant says as she scans my pass and beams at me. I smiles back weakly and begin my trek down to the plane. Nearly dropping my suitcase on my head as I load it in the carry on bin, I settled down in the window seat of row 8. Ugh, I'm nervous. I'm 19 and have never travelled alone. My college study abroad is sending me to Scotland for my writing major. Scotland. So far from my warm hometown of San Francisco. I'm very excited, but also a little scared. I fidget in my seat as a man in his 50s takes a seat beside me. Sigh. This is going to be a long flight. Good thing I've got Imagine Dragons and an empty notebook to get me through it.

A/NSorry it's so short! I've got more chapters on the way. I'm not sure how long this will be, but I already like it. Don't hate! This is one of my first stories on wattpad. Feel free to leave constructive criticism, votes, comments, or really anything but hate. :)
