Chap 44. Both Parties

Calum went to his home alone since Agatha is at work. He took this opportunity to tell about his plan to his parents.

"Mum, Dad, Mali. When are your available times?"

"Why Cal?"

"Dad, I was planning a trip to the Philippines and you will come with us?"

"Ohhh, I'm excited" Mali said

"Also to meet Agatha's family"

"Is something happening?"

"Sort of. Uhm, I kind of hinted marriage to her"

Mali squealed "Really? She really is going to be my sister"

"I also told her dad that I'll plan the meet up, so yeah. When can we visit them"

"Saturday is fine"

Agatha arrived home but no one's there so she assumed that Cal probably went somewhere. She entered the house and changed clothes, then continued her work.

"Baby?"

"Hey babe, where have you been?" Calum went to the living room and kissed her head

"I visited my family, you just arrived?"

"Yeah"

"Baby, are you available next weekend?"

"Yes babe, why?"

"I'm planning a trip to the Philippines with my family"

"That's great babe but what does it have to do with me?"

"I also wanted them to meet your family"

"Sure babe"

"Thanks"

Calum stood up and went to their room. It was past midnight and Agatha is not yet joining him in bed, so he stood up and went to the living room. He found out that Agatha fell asleep on the couch. He gathered her things and place it on the table, when he was about to carry her, she woke up.

"Cal?" Agatha sat up.

"You fell asleep, baby"

"Where are my things?"

"Its on the table" Agatha yawned then she stood up

"Are you done with your work?"

"Yeah, I took a rest and there I fell asleep"

"Let's go to bed so you can sleep well"

They went to the bedroom and lied down.

"Good night baby"

The Weekend... It is already the weekend that Cal is waiting for.

"Baby, are you ready?"

"Yes babe"

"Let's go baby. Cab is waiting outside"

Agatha checked everything before they leave the house, Calum carried their luggage on the trunk and they both left. When they arrived at the airport, Calum's family is already there waiting. They all checked in and waited for their flight.

A: Hello?
F: Hey sis. Mom and Dad are asking for the time of your arrival.
A: We'll be there by 8am.
F: Okay sis. Anyway, you brought anything for me?
A: And what's that supposed to mean?
F: You know it.
A: Oopps, I didn't bring anything hehe
F: Agathaaaaaa!
A: Finnnnnnnn! I have to go, we're boarding. See you soon brother.

"What is it?"

"They're asking for the time of our arrival"

The flight was long and they have jetlag. They arrived the Philippines and went to claim their things, they went outside and Agatha looked for her family.

"Agatha!!!" She ran towards her brother and they followed.

"Finn!" They hugged each other.

"Where's Cal?"

"Hey, Finn"

"Hey Cal"

"Finn, I'd like you to meet Cal's family. His mum, Joy, his dad, David and his sister Mali"

"Nice to meet all of you, Aunt Joy, Uncle David and Mali. I'm Finn Matthew Lopez. Agatha's brother"

"Hi, Finn. Nice to meet you" He helped them loaded their things in his car.

"Finn, where's Aunt Aree and Uncle Fred?"

"They're home, preparing for your arrival"

"Finn, how old are you?"

"Oh, I'm 26 sir"

"We're here"

"Sis, go inside. Mom and dad are waiting for you"

"Come on, dad" Agatha opened the door.

"Mom! Dad!"

"Princess?"

"Sir, you can all sit here"

"Good Morning Calum's Family and welcome to our home"

"Aunt Aree, Uncle Fred, this is my mum Joy-Koa Hood, My Dad David Hood and my older sister Mali-Koa Hod"

"Its so nice to meet all of you. My name is Aree, my husband is Fred and you met our elder son, Finn and of course our daughter"

Agatha and Finn served their food in the living room.

"Thank you"

"You have lovely children"

"I always taught them values towards family and other people"

"Agatha is really kind, she makes me happy and sometimes defend me when the hate is too much"

"Joy, you have a place to stay?"

"No, know any good hotels?"

"Finn can take you to any hotel you prefer. Wait"

"Finn!! Will you drive them to the hotel?"

"Sure mom"

"Uhmm where's Agatha?" Calum asked

"She's in her room, I don't think she'll join"

"Is something wrong?"

"She said she has a headache"

"May I visit her?"

"Calum, she said that you spend time with your family for a while since you've been busy with rehearsals"

They left the house and Finn drove them to the nearest hotel. Calum has a worried face during the trip.

"Cal, are you okay?"

"Yes dad"

"You look worried"

"I'm just worried about Agatha"

"She'll be fine, Cal. We'll look after her"

"Thanks Finn and inform me if anything happens"

"Of course, I should be leaving now. Enjoy your stay here"

"Thanks Finn"

Later that night, they went out for dinner. Calum brought them to a restaurant where he and Agatha used to go.

"Cal, how did you find this place?"

"Well, Agatha showed me to different places here and I assure you that they have great food here"

A waiter gave them menu and they started to order.

"What are your plans, Cal?" David asked

"Hmmm, I wanted us to have a tour here and to talk about the wedding"

"Anyway, any news about Agatha?"

"I haven't received anything yet but I hope she's fine"

"Maybe, she's just tired from the trip. I mean she came from work right before we left right?"

"Yes mum, but I wanna take care of her"

Their order came and they ate dinner.
