Liam parked, his black Range Rover not too far from our chem building.

Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that Liam is comfortably wealthy?

A.k.a FILTHY RICH. His parents own some big business in New York City. The company name was even his last name. Winston Corp, I think that's what it's called. I can't remember, Liam mentioned it briefly before. His parents are a sensitive topic, guessing his childhood was filled with nannies and solitude since he was an only child.

Anyways, his car wasn't just a range rover, it was a matte black sports range rover. His car could be more than 50 thousand for all I knew. Which is why I closed the passenger door gently when I hopped out.

I stretched as I got out, turning my face up towards the bright sun. It seemed to have stopped raining on our drive over. It turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day here in Northern California.

Liam made his way around the car and we began walking to sidewalk of the building, avoiding any cars pulling into the parking lot.

"Hey, do you wanna go out for lunch after this?" Liam asked, bringing his hand up, to block out the sun, to look at me.

"Um, sure. Can we also talk about that psych project that I never bothered to listen to? I wouldn't mind switching up the partners a bit", I laughed thinking of how mad Ash is gonna be at me for ditching him.

Revenge is a bitch. And so am I.

"Isn't Ash gonna want to be your partner, though?"

"Yeah, well he insulted my car. Plus, I wouldn't mind being your partner. Just means I get to see more of you." I threw a shy smile his way.

Did I just flirt?

What the f-

"Well, I certainly couldn't refuse that offer, now could I?" Liam laughed, flirting back.

I suck at flirting. How am I pulling this off?

Of course then, the moment was over as soon as it started.

"Liam? Is that you?", screeched Liam's obsessive Queen B, ex-girlfriend, Lexi, across the parking lot.

She flipped her perfectly wavy, strawberry blonde hair over her shoulder and made her way over to us, her clique following. Liam awkwardly stuffed his hands in his pockets and gave me a look.

I know that look.

That look means "I know you don't like her but even though she's my ex she's still my friend, and you're my friend too. I'm sorry, you don't have to leave if you don't want to."

Yup, I got all that in one look.

Mostly because I've been given that look many times before by him, and many other looks. Liam and his ex-girlfriend are complicated. They're best friends and a killer couple.

Well, were a killer couple. Not for long though. They're never done with each other for good. They're an on-again,off-again couple.

They're that couple that everyone either hates or adores because they're picture perfect. Liam and Lexi are a match made in Heaven.

Literally.

Because they both look like angels.

As of now, Liam and Lexi weren't together.

For now, it never lasts long for them to get together again.

Mostly because Lexi is a tall, size 2, model type with a perfectly sculpted curvy body, who gets what she wants, when she wants it. She has everything every guy's dream girl could have. She had long tanned legs, long ginger hair, and a great ass and boobs. Though both those last 2 things look very fake. Actually, no. Everything about her is fake. I could start a list and it would never end. Her nails are fake, her hair extensions, hair color, her tan, her eyelashes, her implants and so on.
