"Oh, Tessa! I'm so glad you're home" I sighed out as I shut my eyes and got comfortable on the couch.

She laughed at my worn out state.

"What's up, Sky?"

She sat down on the other end of the couch that I wasn't taking up. I giggled at her favorite coffee cup that was always in her hand. It had our school's mascot on it, which was a wolf. Tessa placed her coffee cup down gently on the glass table in front of the couch. She turned to me giving me her undivided attention.

"Spill the beans, hun."

"Oh, where to even begin..." I started.

I told Tessa everything, from Lexi being a bitch this morning to realizing that both my professor and hot jock friend might possibly somewhat, somehow like me. Right?

It was a lot to explain.

It was a lot to take in.

Lexi sat there staring at me, gawking.

Well, this was new. Lexi was the kind of person who always knew what to say and when to say it, she was very level headed. BUt never was Tessa speechless. Oh boy, there goes my composed, steady rock.

I snap my finger in front of her face trying to bring her back to reality.

"Tess"

"Tess!"

"TESSA!!"

She jumps, her hand flying to her chest catching her breath.

"What the fuck?" She questions.

Woah there buckaroO. If there's one thing Tess doesn't do, its curse. She's like the mom friend, the civilized one, the one mentally more mature than the rest of us.

"Tess!" I scolded.

"Sorry, that's just a lot of scattered info and what the hell? We have a hot professor?"

I sigh, shaking my head. Of course that's all she got out of my ranting.

"Tessa! Help me!"

"Right. Sorry." She composes herself, then proceeds to sit straighter with her hands in her lap sending me a mom-type heartwarming smile.

"Look, Sky, you're really pretty and you don't even realize it which is the funny part. So of course you're gonna have a couple of hotties goin-"

"Tess, just tell me how to handle the situation".

"Right, Sorry. Ok, so-"

Tess's phone started ringing interrupting our conversation. She looked down at her phone confused as to who was calling her, then her face broke into shock and excitement.

"Sorry, Sky. This call is from the dean of admissions, it's really important. Just give me a second".

She answered the phone and began walking away, leaving me in my thoughts.

Ughh, I just needed her advice. I didn't know how to handle anything, let alone drama like this.

Tess was taking a while on her call and i began drifting off into a deep slumber on our couch.

"Skylar Anne Vince, wake up!"

Holy shit!

I jolted awake, resulting in my body hitting the floor.

"What the fu-"

"Stop with the cussing, Sky"

Great, Ash is home.

"I am out for one day and everything goes to hell. Tess told me everything and liam called me when you passed out"

Oh boy. Am I in for the lecture of my life from Ash.
