Tears falling onto the ground.
He tries to wipe them away, but she pushes him off.
Anger swells. A fist flys.
She lays, body sprawled. Like a bird with a broken wing. Like one dead.
Apologies made. Forgiveness given.
Cycle repeating.
Anger swells. Fist flys.
She lays broken in the dust.
She fights back. He hits harder.
She stands up. He pushes her down.
She builds up strength. He takes it away.
He throws things now.
He hit her. He threw his bottle at her skull.
His aim is true and she lays dead.
Glass shards splintered in her bones.
In her throat. In her nose.
And he is happy. Oddly enough.
He got his way. And his was death.
Behind bars but still abusing.
Cycle repeating.
