They can't see the pain
Makeup hides the scars
I am fine. I never cry.
Smile and laugh, dance in the hallways
Pills can't help, can't lose weight
They watch me not eat and I say I'm full
Go to the bathroom, puke it away
Long pants and high cuts so nobody can see
I'm okay
Makeup hides my face
Hair is pretty
Clothes are cute
That's all they care for, not me
I'm okay
Parents argue, money is tight
Stay up all night
I'm okay
And I am normal, you wouldn't know because you can't see and because you don't care.
