I woke the next morning with Tyler's arm still wrapped around my waist. Like always, he was still sleeping and I was trying not to laugh at his snoring. He honestly sounds like a bear when he snores.
Carefully I rolled over and looked at my clock.
6:45 A.M
Dang it! My alarm was supposed to wake me up forty five minutes ago, seeing as school starts in fifteen minutes. I quickly stand up, and nudge Tyler. He stirs a little, but goes back to snoring in a matter of seconds.
"Tyler get up!" I yell. He doesn't respond and I almost scream in frustration. A smirk makes its was on my face as I think of the perfect idea to wake him. Fine time for plan b.
"HELP ME SOMEONE'S IN THE HOUSE!" I yell with all ever ounce of
energy one can have at six in the morning.
Tyler automatically sits up right with wide alarmed eyes. "What is it?"
I laugh so hard my stomach hurts while Tyler glares at me. "That's not Funny Nat. Don't be like the boy who cried wolf."
"Fine I'll be the girl who cried, "Get your lazy ass up or we're going to be late!'"
"What?" He asked clearly confused and still makes that look totally adorable.
"Get changed or we are going to be late. And trust me when I say, I will kill you if I'm late." I state with as much of a menacing voice as possible. But unfortunately I am as menacing as a turtle.
He chuckles while grabbing his shirt from the bathroom."Nice try. You're not scary. But don't worry we won't be late, it's a Friday. Besides there is no way in hell I'm letting that pervy teacher anywhere near you."
I sighed in relief and started picking out what I was going to wear for today. Oh and in case your wondering about what Tyler said, it's a weird story.
Basically one of the teachers in the office, Mr. Gordon, is a complete and utter pervert who has a thing for girls my age. Gross. Anyway if you are late he will usually give you your pass while looking at you with the most disgusting look a teacher can ever give to a student he is checking out. No one ever talks about it because....... well I don't know, but we do know that Mr. Gordon will not like it.
He's close to the principle and can get you expelled within 5 minutes. It's happened before and now people let him get away with for the sake of staying at the school.
I decide to wear my Mickey Mouse sweater, with black jeans and my black converse. Quickly, I pull my dark hair into a high ponytail and run downstairs. Instantly the smell of coffee fills my nose and I run ever faster to it.
When I reach the bottom of the stairs Tyler is there. Holding both my bag and my coffee cup, I smile at him and pull him into a hug, careful not to spill my precious, precious coffee.
"Have I ever told you how much I love your hugs?" He asks softly.
"Have I ever told you how much I love you?" I ask, playfulness clearly in my voice.
He chuckles and pulls back; handing me my bag and coffee. I drink the coffee eagerly. When I feel the warm liquid go into my throat I moan in delight.
"Thank you so much Ty!" I say smiling.
"Your welcome, but I do suggest we get going." He says. I nod and we go outside and go to his car.
"You or me?" I ask.
"Me!" He responds quickly. I laugh. Maybe I am a bad driver, but hey at least I'm not slow.
"Okay, okay I see how it is." I laugh, raising my hands up in defense.
"No offense Nat, but your the worst driver ever." He says with a smirk. I smack his arm before we get into the car.
Tyler starts the engine and turns to me before we go. "Hey Nat,"
"Yes?" I ask cautiously.
"Do ya got a bae..." He starts.
"No! Tyl-"
"OR NAH!" He finishes with a 'pop' of his tongue. I roll my eyes and look out the window.
This is going to a long ride god help me.
...
Shockingly, the car ride wasn't that long, but I will admit that if it weren't for the music playing I would punch Tyler in the face. Now don't get me wrong, I love Tyler with all my heart, but God that boy is so annoying. And not in a good way.
When we pull up for school we rush into the building. I catch Mr. Gordon giving me a perverted glance and I try to ignore the vomit that's in my throat.
Finally I reach my locker, and I am relieved to see that the hallways aren't empty. Ever since that creepy movie I am afraid to be alone.
"Bye Babe, have to go to class." Tyler calls from the end of the hall. As usual I get glared at by the lower class men and I just smirk. I like the relationship between us. He always says those kinds of things to me, like, babe or baby or sweetheart. But he just does it to get the girls jealous, thus him being a player.
"Bye Ty!" I yell.
Quickly, I get everything I can possibly need for my first class; Which is history. Since my history teacher, Mrs. Howard, is the most unpredictable person ever. I'm serious, half of the things we do in her class we aren't even supposed to know until college. I know, I've checked.
I hear the bell ring and run down the hall to my class- not before someone runs into me. I instantly fall to the ground and land on my bottom.
When I look up I see him.
And ladies and gents I introduce you to Avery James Parker. He wears a black leather jacket with a white shirt underneath, and blue skinny jeans. His hair is elegantly messed up, giving him a bed head look. And his eyes-oh his eyes-they're an amazing shade of blue. The color of a dazzling blue topaz or diamond. No, they're more blue than that.
He catches me looking at him and smirks briefly.
"See something you like princess?"
