Chapter One

Chapter One: •~•Lilah's POV•~•

My heart stopped the first time his deep, thoughtful, blue eyes met mine. My heart stopped again when his eyes closed with a last puff of breath.

~Two Months Earlier~

That's impossible! Completely impossible! If my parents had wanted anything to do with me they wouldn't have left when I was thirteen. And yet, here was this gorgeous blue eyed, curly haired, extremely attractive boy telling me they want to talk to me now. Who is this guy? I've never seen him before, I mean I surely would have remembered if I had....

Apparently this 'Sam' dude has been working for my parents for the past like five years. Which makes no sense what so ever because my parents live in the Deciduous Forest. A very forbidden, very dark, very dangerous place. Ya that's a real self esteem booster! Choose a scary haunted forbidden forest over your own daughter. Love you too!

"Lilah, I'm serious, they want to talk to you! It's forest rules, you can't talk to your own kid until they are eighteen.." Sam tries to tell me for the fifth time. Me being my usual sarcastic self replies.

"Really? Cause you haven't said that five times!" Sam just smirks.

"Well aren't you the charmer! Guess you'll fit right in! I mean after all it is a 'dark forest'!" I just roll my eyes. I don't want to put up with my parents and I definitely don't want to be stuck in a car with him for six hours and then stuck hiking with him for days through a bunch of haunted trees. When I say 'dark forest' I mean the creatures haven't been cleared of evil. I went in there once when I was sixteen. Nightmares haunt my sleep of the things I saw in there, and that was four years ago. By the looks of it though I'm going back. So, I guess you will see what I mean.

Our society is ruled my three gods: Darah, Alucio and Destrucia. Alucio and Darah are light gods, they rule all things pure and good. Destrucia is a dark god, she rules all things evil. Darah and Alucio decided to create this world and us people, but they had forgotten one thing. There is a council made up of other worldly people of light origin. Each and every one of the council member used to be a Light God, but have passed their power on to the heir of their choice below them. This makes ten more then human, but slightly less than a god. Their job is to make sure the light gods don't endure any acts that violate their purpose to keep things in tranquility. Destrucia used to be a light god, but she decided to act without the council's permission when she created a planet. each time she disobeyed them she became less light until she was entirely of a dark descent. The country banished her bht because of her power, they couldn't destroy her. So she became the first, and only, Dark God. Alucio and Darah had permission from every god but Destrucia who demanded she be informed of any big decisions or she would wreak havoc on the council and start war. One day, they found a note left on their heavenly doorstep, a request to meet with Destrucia at her place.

Destrucia drove a hard bargain and claimed that they could only create the planet if she got some land on it for herself. After much debate they agreed and decided she could have this little bitty bit of forest. That was all she needed.

Soon there after, Alucio and Darah discovered they were to have a child. They had spread the news, but tried to keep Destrucia from finding out. Unfortunately, Destrucia found about the little bundle of joy on the day if the child's first birthday. Destrucia hated children and hated being the only dark god/goddess, so she devised a plan to help her with both problems.

When Destrucia went to see the child she did something horrible, she stole it and banished the little baby girl to float aimlessly in the darkest voids of space.

When Darah found out of her baby's disappearance she was devastated. Overcome with sadness, anger, and despair, Darah made deal with Destrucia. Darah became a dark goddess so she could search space for her child.

Some believe the child walks the earth hidden among us, others believe Destrucia killed the child and Darah is now stuck in her dark state.her true where a outs are u determined though, for she was never found. Each year on the daughter's birthday, the people of light faith set fire to a tiny silver star attached to a balloon, and push them out towards the sky in hope of lighting up space so she can be found.

Hey guys! First chapter is back, the story is being reconstructed and I'm adding more details. I can't guarantee regular updates but I will try!!! I have 1-4 modified, and now i have to go back and fix the rest......

So sorry I'm such a mess, but I feel like the story will be more enjoyable the second time around....hopefully. I will try to remember to updat Chapters 2 and Three sometime next week.
