Chapter 8: Rabbit (Movie Special)

Hello Readers,

We're back! Here is Chapter 8, this does have slight spoilers to the blue exorcist movie however I couldn't pass up on including such a cute character. I hated how the movie ended. With out any more delay enjoy your waited for long chapter, actually Blacklustermaster when editing and spell checking this chapter and on obtaining overs commented about how the next few chapters are actually rather long over all. Either way enjoy and I'll post another chapter in a few weeks. Why this chapter is dubbed 'Movie special' unlike my other specials (besides the Christmas chapters and birthday ones) this is cannon to the current story arc I am writing. I only called it movie special so people know this chapter includes things from the movie.

(Lilith's p.o.v)

I sat across the posh table to Kai who had placed a paper in front of me. I looked at the headline.

"What? This can't be..." he nodded and picked up his cup, sipping the tea I had made him. "This is from the movie. We are in the manga"

"Lilith, we are editing the timeline anyway so maybe what happened in the movie won't happen and it's just the festival." He looked in his cup. "Even so, if that young rabbit demon does anything to me, please snap me out of it" I nodded.

"Same goes for me."

"I thought you couldn't be effected by Mephisto's kin?" I sighed and closed my eyes.

"Mephy often lies to make me feel safer. I can't tell if that information was a lie or not." Kai watched me as I closed my eyes.

"Mephisto is weird like that." I nodded and sipped my tea before opening my eyes. "Why would he lie about something like that, though? wouldn't he want to tell you something like that so you can protect yourself?"

"Nee-Chan!!" we both jump and I turn around to see Amaimon. He sat in the now open window of the old dorm. "Nephew."

"Evening, Amaimon. Is there a reason you're here?" Amaimon jumped into his room and spit his lollipop stick into the bin. Kai's eyes twitched because Amaimon blanked him.

"Aniue told me to collect you on my way back home. The exorcists are redoing some barriers so he wants us home." I blinked then looked at Kai.

"I will call you later. Go, see if you can find out more about this festival." I nodded and got up.

"Please tell me you bought your key." Amaimon pulled out his chain and showed me his many keys. "Why do you need so many? Don't you have the infinity key?"

"Aniue took that off me when I became a familiar. He also said I should wear this..." he pulled out the exorcist pin and Kai face palmed.

"Let's just go. Also, don't take this off." I walk closer and pin the pin on his jacket collar. "If you keep it on, exorcists will stop attacking you." Amaimon nodded and held up his keys.

"Let's go. Aniue will be mad if we're late."

(Outside p.o.v)

Mephisto sat at his desk sighing as he looked at the reports about the mobs that have been turning up. He looked up as the door opened to Amaimon and Lilith. His eyes found the exorcist badge pinned to his brother's jacket. He had been bugging him to wear it for ages, for his own protection.

"Welcome back, but I told you to take her home" Mephisto looked at Amaimon annoyed.

"I asked him to bring me to you" Mephisto blinked at Lilith's statement. "Has anyone brought a rabbit demon of your kin in?" Mephisto's eyes widen.
