Mad4Greenz: We as always don't own Blue exorcist, just our OCs. We mean no harm in our jokes and never intend to offend anyone with them. This is a holiday themed chapter but considering writer-Chan is basically a witch it's still weird she writes a Christmas chapter. Anyway enjoy the chapter.

(Outside p.o.v)

Mephisto chuckled as he cradled Yuki, who fussed about being forced into a bright pink baby grow. His footsteps bounced in joy as he walked towards the living room. Unlike the year before, Mephisto had decorated the manor with Christmas decorations, but they weren't what you would expect. He had Mistletoe and holly lining the halls and above the door ways. A floor to ceiling pine tree covered in lights, planets, moons, stars, pocket watches and sand timers. It was a version of Christmas that had him as the main idol rather than the Christian version.

Yuki reached up with a giggle when her eyes caught the lights on the tree. Her tiny hands reaching out to them, ignoring the purple and silver presents under the tree or her Mother in the kitchen, still dressed in her night wear. Mephisto smiled and placed Yuki down in her play pen beside the tree before walking over to his wife.

"Merry Samaelmas" Mephisto whispered as he hugged her from behind and kissed her neck.

"Happy Birthday. I'm not going near that damned plant you hung everywhere, so no kisses!" He laughed as she pushed him away. "I'll finish making warm milk for your princess then we can open presents. You'll help Princess open hers first, right?"

"Of course, my love, then we'll relax until the evening when Nephew, the cat, Amaimon and Shiemi are joining us for dinner." Lilith smiled as he kissed her head gently. "I wonder if Melvin is having fun?"

"Where did you send him anyway?"

"You told me this is a family holiday. So I sent him to spend time with his family."


(kai's P.O.V)

Huh...today has been weird, and everyone's only just woken up. Usually as soon as everyone wakes up, Melvin gives them the usual Christmas tradition of a whip to the face using his snake (and it's only sometimes a euphemism), among other atrocities in the name of "christmas cheer". Where is he? Everyone is getting worried because we can't find him. The collective belief is that he's plotting something, and it's something big. This has instilled a feeling of dread that shouldn't belong to the season.

"what do you think is happening with him? I mean, he hasn't been seen since yesterday, and we can't forget what happened last year...I still have the scars from the fire"

Yes, the dreaded great fires of true cross, that inferno of '16...everyone still has to go to the local therapist (me) just to forget about it.

"oh god. He's planning something extra diabolical today. He's going to drive us all insane. I just know it. Game over, man, GAME OVER!!!" Ezio begins to completely panic before I look at my phone. A message is stored on there from Mephisto. I play the message on speaker, so everyone can hear it.

"hello, my dear nephew...BURP...excuse her, she just had her breakfast. You might be wondering where your blonde troublemaker is. Well, Lilith has informed me that the holiday season is best spent with family, and I decided to hold Melvin to this standard as well. I'll leave it up to you to decide what I mean by that. Ta ta."

The clown put Melvin with his family...wow, he can be sadistic. I find myself wondering about just how Mephisto even managed to catch Melvin and keep him in the shadow realm when Izumo walks up, pokes me and looks relieved.
