Hello Readers,

From now on I'm going to only be posting one chapter (main story or special/holiday chapter) a month but it's not fixed what time of the month I'll post a chapter. There will be the rare time where I'll post two because Myself and the other writers have already written a few up coming birthday chapters for some OCs. Sadly things are busy again and I won't go into daily life but it has meant I can't write as often as I did before. Anyway here is your newest Chapter! This was actually a really nice chapter to write so I hope you guys enjoy it.

A big thank you to Blacklustermaster as always for spell checking and editing.

Mephisto hummed as he walked around the manor, trying to find Lilith. He knew she was home, as her scent of fresh tea was overwhelming; letting him know she had done as he asked and not left the manor all day. He paused as he reached the hatch that allowed access to the roof.

"I didn't think tonight was clear enough for stargazing." He mummed to himself, pulling the hatch open and climbing the ladder to the railed off area he added for Lilith to stargaze, something he noticed she did a lot. He smiled as he found her, sat on a picnic blanket as she gazed through a telescope. "My dear, it's not the best weather." He walked to her side, taking notice that she was using one of his personally made ones. "Using one of my telescopes is cheating." He sat beside her and hugged her around the waist, smiling widely when his hand came to rest on her large baby bump. "I'm worried you and Princess will get sick." He kissed her temple, as if trying to make sure he got her attention.

"There is a Luna eclipse tonight, so I need your telescope. That is, unless you can make the evil clouds go away?" He chuckled and kissed her cheek.

"My telescope will do that. Mind if I take a peek?" he whispered, his gaze not leaving her face. She looked to him at last and his heart skipped a beat. He couldn't explain it, but since she got pregnant, he was more in love with her. He didn't know how that was possible, but he couldn't help thinking she was beautiful every time he looked at her.

"You can, but haven't you seen loads?" Mephisto moved so his head rested on her shoulder as he looked through the telescope.

"Before you showed interest in this hobby, I never really paid much notice. it might be my domain, so to speak, but I never saw the beauty of it until you pointed it out."

"Oh." She blushed then smiled brightly. "I hope our little one will like stargazing. unlike me, they will have powers like you." Mephisto raised an eye brow and moved back so he could look at her. "Well, it's pretty clear they will inherit your powers over mine."

"While it is true I need an heir, it was never stated it would be my first born. I would be perfectly happy if this princess had your powers, though it is possible she'll have both of our powers. Most of your powers come from me after all." Lilith pouted and he smiled.

"Mephy, we don't know the gender yet... you can't call our Baby a she until we know if it is a girl."

"Oh, but I can tell. Daddy's intuition. Besides, you know I've always wanted a girl of my own." Lilith rolled her eyes then looked back through the telescope, knowing there was no point in arguing with him.

Mephisto hummed as he moved her so she sat in his lap, gazing through the telescope watching the sky. He would never tell her but holding her, while she does the actual stargazing, is his actual favourite part of it all. He loves that she is interested in it, because without having to study, he knew everything about space, with the stars and the star systems. He enjoyed being the one to teach her. His eyes moved from her, watching through the telescope to his hands, placed above their baby. It bought a smile to him, the idea that they could one day also do this with their child, a family activity. He closed his eyes and breathed in her scent. While her usual fresh tea scent overwhelmed all others, to his senses up close like this, he could smell a second, underlying scent. Since the start of her pregnancy, Mephisto has been able to smell a second scent slowly getting stronger under hers. Now she is due any day, he can finally pin point what it is.

"Candy floss..." he mumbles into her neck. She looks round to him.

"Candy floss?" she asks confused, since he promised to stop eating those kinds of sweets.

"That underlying smell, the one I think is our princess's. It's Candy floss." Lilith couldn't help but giggle. "Huh? What's so funny?"

"I get the feeling that no matter what, this Baby will take after you in some way." He blinked and she leant back onto him. "You say I smell of Fresh tea and a hint of something else. To me, you smell of Parma violets, my favourite sweets. If you're right and the Baby is going to smell of Candy floss then what does that tell you?"

"That scent-wise our baby is a sweet treat like me?" Lilith smiles and he then finally does too. "Maybe my powers just cause a sweet-smelling scent? After all, you smell of my favourite blend of tea, which has the perfect amount of milk and two sugars." He kissed her head again then froze mid kiss. "As lovely as this is, you should look through the telescope. The Luna eclipse is going to happen any second now."

Lilith, that second, moved back to gazing through the telescope. Mephisto snapped his fingers, dimming the manor lights so she would have a better chance to see it. He was rewarded with a sight he views more wonderful than any form of eclipse. He watched her fill with joy from what she is watching. Even in the dim light, he could see her perfect smile which slowly parted as she gasped at what she was watching. He bit his lip, tempted to kiss her but unwilling to spoil her moment. He could kiss her later, but the eclipse doesn't last long.

"It's beautiful. do you want to..."

"No, I am happy watching you, my love." Mephisto spoke softly. He enjoyed her happiness more than she could ever understand. It gave him some kind of high every time he made her wishes come true and earned her smile. "Nothing could be more beautiful to me than you." He smiled noticing her blush deeply even in the dim light.

It was hours later that they lied down, now the clouds had cleared, to just stare up at the stars; Mephisto sometimes pointing out to her different constellations. He paused midway through explaining the constellation of Orion and how it is depicted differently in Japan compared to what she was bought up believing. He looked to her and found her asleep beside him, looking as if she just couldn't stay up any longer.

"The story of Orion can wait for another night, I suppose." He sat up and moved to pick her up princess style, however as he did so, he froze. The air around her felt different. It was as if the air was charged and he felt uneasy. His hand instinctively went to her stomach, to check their baby was okay. He felt it kick sharply. "Shhh, calm yourself." His words didn't seem to reach them like they usually did. The baby wouldn't calm down. It kept kicking and woke Lilith. "I'm sorry my usual trick didn't work. I, err..." he blinked seeing the pained look on her face as she tried to sit up. "Lilith? What is hurting? Don't try to sit up I'll carry you to bed." She shook her head at him.

"I need a doctor" Mephisto blinked, too panicked to fully understand what she meant. "Mephisto, the baby is coming." His eyes widened and he nodded, mentally unable to form words. He quickly snapped his fingers, transporting them both to their bedroom and quickly grabbed his phone, calling all the people he knew needed to be here.

(Kai's p.o.v)

I arrived a few hours after Mephisto had called me. I figured I wouldn't be much help, but wanted to see how she was since I had no updates since. I walked into the manor through the side door leading into Lilith's living room. I found Amaimon sat in his armchair and Mephisto pacing. Mephisto looked angry, I feared one poke and he would snap like an annoyed lion. I watched as his tail whipped around behind him as he paced, twitching and flicking as its owner walked back and forth by the door. I looked closer and saw Mephisto wasn't as primp and proper as he usually was. His blazer was gone, his shirt untucked, by his tail most likely, his waist coat open and his shorts seem dirty. His fangs were visible over his bottom lip and his gloves must have been ditched somewhere.

"Aniue won't hear you" I look to Amaimon who ducks as Mephisto's tail whips very close to his face. "He's been like that for half an hour. Azael-Nii finally kicked him out of the room for stressing Lilith out." That would mean the baby hasn't arrived yet. Poor Lilith is having a long labour and her demon husband must be panicking and fussing, adding to her stress.

"Human labours can last quite a few hours or be over quickly. It's different for every birth."

"From what I've been told, demon births are quick, but very risky for the mother. I suppose this type of birth is safer for Nee-Chan than a demon one." I was interested in how it differed, but chose against asking now. With Mephisto how he is, we shouldn't fuel his fear. I was drawn out my bubble when a loud crash caught my attention. Mephisto had kicked over the side table, making bigger pacing loops with the extra space. The side table in pieces after smashing into the wall.

"How much has he broken?" I asked Amaimon, wondering if Mephisto will ever stop breaking his own things when he's upset or angry.

"That's the third thing ... in half an hour... any longer and we might be next."

In the end, we waited another hour, during which Mephisto broke another side table, the empty sofa and the coffee table. Azael finally had come to get us; Mephisto was the first one at the door when it opened.

"Lilith and the Baby are okay. Brother, she is very tired and weak, please be gentle and calm down." Mephisto nodded, his tail still twitching. I followed him, wanting to make sure he didn't harm his new born and wife after allowing his anger to build up.

(Mephisto's p.o.v)

I can't believe I was kicked out. I'm so angry. Anything could have happened to her and... no, I have to calm down. Being stressed and angry will put Lilith's health at risk and I might hurt our baby. I froze my hand reaching for the door as that thought crossed my mind.

Our baby... on the other side of that door isn't just my wife, but my child as well.

I slowly opened the door, holding my breath as I did so. I looked inside and released my breath. Lilith was sat on the bed, looking tired, holding something in her arms. I walked over to her quickly, sitting beside her.

"Is that...?"

"Yes. Do you want to hold her?" I quickly looked Lilith in the eyes. Her, we have a daughter. "Yes, Mephisto. You were right" she smiled weakly and handed me our baby. I cradled her, careful of my nails as I brush what little black hair she had aside. she looks exactly like Lilith did the first time I ever saw her. She stirred in herself and her eyes opened slightly. Unlike her mother, her eyes are my green. "She has your eyes, at least" Lilith whispered as I opened my mouth to speak, but found myself unable to since our baby girl stared up at me. I can't believe it, this is my baby. This isn't some memory my mind uses to make a dream like the past few months. This is my baby girl. "She needs a first name"

"Yuki... do you like that name, Princess?" I carefully rubbed her tiny cheek, her tiny fingers reaching up for me as I do, her mouth forming a toothless smile. "Oh, you do?" I couldn't help but smile back. This is perfect. I only have one person I can thank for this. I look to Lilith, who is now resting her head on my shoulder. "Is Yuki alright with you?"

"Yuki Gwen Pheles sounds perfect."

"Thank you, Lilith" I kiss her head, my eyes closing as I feel a tear slip down my cheek. "Thank you so much"

"You don't need to thank me, Mephy"

"Yes, I do. If you hadn't come into my life, if you hadn't go through all this for our daughter... I don't know what kind of man I would have been, but I know no matter what I couldn't have been happier than I am right now. Lilith, thank you for existing and giving me a child."
