3rd Person POV

Rothwell Private Academy Boarding School.  Early English Literature, Room 13.  Monday, September 2nd.   10:15am

"I saw her walking out with St. Xavier this morning. She's a solid 9.5." Jeff explains to a rather amused Daxon and a rather bored T.J as they wait for their Early English Literature class to begin.

"That might be so but I heard she has never even attending a private school before. She might be chav." T.J explains and Daxon shrugs not completely understanding his British friend's native slang.

"Who cares. It's not like you're going to marry her."

"Yeah I guess Dax would know a little something about sleeping with the lower class. How was Selena last night?" T.J raises a brow at his friend who only rolls his eyes and looks away.

Jeff on the other hand was ecstatic, wiping tears away from his eyes at T. J's comment.

"Aw come on mate! Don't be like that. It's not like you fancy her." T. J's claps Daxon's shoulder who only chuckles at his friend. Sometimes T.J De La Pole was too much for him. This would be one of those times.

"Hey I don't kiss and tell." Daxon gets out of his seat and sits down on the desk making T.J and Jeff groan out rebuttals.

"Bro tell us!" Jeff demands.

"Jeff I think it's time you get laid. You can't keep living vicariously through me." Daxon puts a hand to his chest and T.J snorts.

"What about being bi-curious?" Cecily Havenport enters the class room with Ava St. Xavier in tow behind her. The whole class looked over at their entrance but that much wasn't surprising. The two girls were both stunning in their own ways. Turning heads was nothing new to them as they strutted over to two desks in front of the boys.

"Cecily it's been too long." T.J greets his court member with a showy hug. Cecily plays along as a pleasant smile falls across her face.

"How was Wales?" She asks.

"Good but I'm happy to be back." T.J answers and with that the two are done putting on their little show.

"Ava I see you got all the vanilla icing out of your hair." Jeff comments as Ava's butt hits the seat.

"Good one Kensington. It's been 2 days since I've heard that one." Ava retorts sarcastically and Cecily eyes her warily as she notices Daxon tense up from her presence.

"How's the cottage on my beach?" Ava remarks making a few heads turn, once it was known she was addressing Daxon.

"Honestly. Kind of disappointing but that's to be expected. After all, it is on YOUR beach." Daxon smirks and Jeff audibly gulps as the two stare down one another. Ava's hazel eyes were zeroed in on her target in determination and Daxon looked cool and collected as his navy blue eyes watched her every move.

"Play nice you two." T.J finally cuts in and Daxon breaks the stare down by leaning back in his chair and looking away from Ava. T.J may have been pretentious but he was the only one that was able to keep the cool between Daxon and Ava.

"Hello class! Everyone take your seats." The warning bell rang and Mr. Bates came scrambling into the classroom with a briefcase in one hand and a coffee mug in the other.

Ava and Cecily turned around looking ahead and the boys did the same, jumping off the desks and sitting down.

"So to all of you that don't know me I'm Mr. Bates and this is Early English Literature. It's a senior elective and we're going to be doing so many fun things this term." Mr. Bates beams looking around the classroom but no one else seemed to share his enthusiasm. Mr. Bates was a fairly new teacher. This was his second year at Rothwell so he didn't fully comprehend that not everyone was equally as excited to learn about literature as he was.
